Issapur village has more than 11500 acres of land second highest in Najafgarh after Dichaon Kalan. National Bureau Of Plant Genetic Resources, Experimental station is located in Issapur about 45 Km away from headquarter near Delhi-Haryana (Dhansa) border. It is established during 1976, on 100 acre land obtained from Gaon Sabha, Issapur on 99 year on lease. The village also has a Air Force station on its land.
Being on the outskirts of Delhi, this village has good agricultural land.  Delhi Development Authority (DDA) has plans to set up a mega-city (like Dwarka) in this area by the year 2021.  If it happens, the agricultural lands may be acquired by the Government forever.
A free school called Kalinga Institute of Social science, a joint venture between Govt. of NCT of Delhi & Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences, Bhubaneswar, Odisha is also being run on the village land . "KISS Delhi is a revolutionary step in bringing the wards of the poorest sections at par with other sections of the society"

This is a very old village of Delhi and was founded in 664 Ad . Village is at more elevation compared to other villages of the region . It is on a height of 190 metres. Due to this flood waters from najafgarh drain were never able to enter issapur village . The Airforce station was constructed on this village because of its height .
*Dagar Jats from [[Bagru Sonipat]] went to [[Issapur Delhi]] from there Dagar also scattered in the nearby villages of Issapur in Najafgarh. Dagar Jats from Issapur also went to [[Maidan Garhi]] and after many centuries those Dagars went from Maidan Garhi to southern part of Haryana in [[Alipur Sohna]] in Gurgaon and Braj Palwal village [[Mandkola]]. These all migration process is many centuries old.

History

  • Dagar Jats from Bagru Sonipat went to Issapur Delhi from there Dagar also scattered in the nearby villages of Issapur in Najafgarh. Dagar Jats from Issapur also went to Maidan Garhi and after many centuries those Dagars went from Maidan Garhi to southern part of Haryana in Alipur Sohna in Gurgaon and Braj Palwal village Mandkola. These all migration process is many centuries old.
