Dammar (डम्मर) tribe of Jats, originally called Lar (लार), immigrants from Sind, Pakistan. They affect the Sindhi title of Jam and claim to be superior to other Jats in that they do not marry daughters outside the tribe ; but the rule is often broken. [1]
Bhim Singh Dahiya[2] cosiders Greek Dimuri to be the Dammar Jats; also of Kashmir.
