Azad Singh Dabas, IFS officer of Madhya Pradesh Cadre from 1985 batch was was born at village Ladpur (Kanjhawla) on 15th August 1957, hence named Azad Singh.
Education
He did his schooling from Delhi. He did his graduation in Agriculture from Haryana Agriculture University Hisar. He completed his Master's Degree in Agriculture from the Same University.
Achievements
He served as DFO in Raigarh, Rajgarh, Hoshangabad, Khargone, Obedullaganj and Sehore districts in Madhya Pradesh. He served as CEO Jila Panchayat Barwani. He was Conservator Betul. As a forester he did pioneering work in Forest Village Development and Joint Forest Management. He launched various programs for over all development of tribals. He launched a very new innovative scheme for educating tribal girls named – Van Gram Ki Lado Yojana in Betul. His tenure as CEP Jila Panchayat is remembered as golden period in the history of Jila Panchayat Barwani.
