Fatehpur (फ़तहपुर) is a village in Hoshangabad district of Madhya Pradesh. It was one of 52 Forts built by Sangram Singh ruler of Gadhamandala.

History

विजयेन्द्र कुमार माथुर[2] ने लेख किया है .....Fatehpur Hoshangabad फ़तहपुर (AS, p.593): भोपाल ज़िला, मध्य प्रदेश का ऐतिहासिक स्थान है। यह गढ़मंडला नरेश संग्राम सिंह, जिनकी मृत्यु 1541 ई. के लगभग हुई, उनके 52 गढ़ों में से एक था। रानी दुर्गावती इन्हीं संग्राम सिंह की पुत्रवधु थीं।
