Which Gotra is the Biggest among Jat

Help needed

DnD sir and Burdak sir ..... help kariyo thodi se .... main bhi yeho soch reha tha ki Dahiya hi hai ..... per mere ko leg reha hai hum Haryana main hi soch rahe hain abhi tak .. baaki UP Haryana, Punjab, Rajasthan, MP sab mila ke koi statistics available ho to batao sir

bhai iss baat ka tae berra nahi appar ... dahiya, dabas arrr hooda ka bhaichara tou aaj bhi hai ... waise abb byah hovan laag gaey appas mei .. apar pehelam na hoya kartey

The Origin of Clan (Gotra)

Opinion 1)
Khadagrai a writer during emperor Shahjahan reifndescribed that Tomar caste is best
among Kshatriyas and they belong to Som Kul and are descendants of Pandavas.
Actually Tomar , Tanwar , Tung ,Tunwar is one and same Gotra among Rajputs
and Jats

Opinion 2)
Another poet of 17th Century AD Kayam Khani has described Kshatriya in the
following lines:
“ Chaun 1st , Tanwar are the second and Panwar is third and other Kuls are in half .
Ther is total three and half of Kshatriya.”

Opinion 3)
According to puranic legend Dabas are the sons of Maharishi Dadhichi the great king
of Sindh in Vedic period .He has four sons namely Dahiya, Davyas (DABAS) Kundu and Hooda .
Dadhichi an emperor turned Maharishi died at the age of 100 years while fighting to
Non-Aryans tribes. In the battle his four sons fought with utmost bravery and anihiliated
the non-Aryan.
The epic makers goes on to prove that the families of Dahiya , Dabas , Kundu and Hooda
lived together upto the times of Mahabharat in the shape of groups like
Soor, Saini, Birshani and Bhoj. They lived in Ujjain , Avantika, Sambal , Inderprastha,
Rajasthan and other Northern India parts upto 7th Century AD.
so i think its still not b clear dat Which Gotra is the Biggest among Jat.

Na miniisha ji mehara ghar te in te bach reha hai ..... per laage se ye ghar main jo kaam kisse ne nahi kerne hote na wo mere jimme ho hain ... er jaldi hi december tak laage hai yo galaama mere gale main ghalta laage hai .... koi malik likh rakhi hai ....... ek pandit ne batayi thee
 
Shweta madam ... main to number main bol reha tha .... baaki parameter aap khoj ke lyaaoo ki kon sa beda hai ... number amin kon ghane hain .... main to uski baat ker reha tha

Devender bhai nice information ..... sorry in between the thread went in different direction .... but it is still to be discussed that which Gotra is the biggest .... as there is a lot of confusion ....
 
bhai logo jra haryana se bhar bhi niclo and dekho ki baliyan and tomer both have at least 84 villages each and i come to jnow that baliyan and tomer khap is the biggest among the all khap. if i am wrong, kindly correct me.

But...Smallest I know...

aaj tak koi nahi mila is surname ke saath...
...because I read it in a Book ......& as in my Certificates my name is only "RAHUL" ...without any surname... so I chose the correct form of the gotra...wherever I need to put surname by compulsion I wrtie it Rahul Nadarya...

Otherwise to humaare yaha sabhi log Chaudhary & Singh hi lagaate hai as Surname...

sorry to drift you away.....

Malik, Tomar, Rathi, Balyan

Sanjeev jii historians differ in tracing their origin and their parent stock in India but these four clans Dahiya, Davyas (DABAS) Kundu and Hooda according to Herodotous, Jats and their Janapad (Khap) and Gana continued their old customs and appointed family ganealoist to perpetuate their history of family and the race form Mythic genealogy. So might b they all gotras are biggest among jat.

vijay kumar jii plzz make me clear about ur gotra.....
Baliyan and Valiyan are the same one or else differ.
Coz i b'long to Valiyan Gotra, n unfotunately cudn't find this gotra in JL wiki.
 
I think Tomer, Sangwan, Malik, Dahiya, Puniya, Dhaka are biggest Gotras ..

Senior ppl like Burdak Uncle, DND uncle and Ravi ji may shed more light on this gud topic.
