Aman though it depends on one's beliefs and religion but if you think about your question then you might realize that there are few blood types, then how can all Japanese be divided into just 7-8 categories? This the link you can go through, might give you l'il knowledge about your question-

dd japan was first Asian country to defeat a European power - Russia in 1905, japanese had aircraft carriers before world war 2, manufactured their own fighter planes, firearams before the World wars, never been colonized by any white man, Your weak and puny australia was saved by America from japanese, captured Indian army soldiers and molded them into INA, America had to drop 2 atom bombs on them in order to defeat them, only power in world war that Americans thought and even now think they could not defeat without the use of atom bomb, came back from defeat and again prospered, and everyone knows about japanese technology.

Read all the entertaining replies to this thread...got a break from a boring monday morning..hahaha
OK now back to the subject initiated by Aman. You know, this kind of correlation between blood type and personality trait/diseases etc have been investigated by many groups but only a handful of published reasearch is available and that too establishes no correlation as such.
For those interested I'm attaching an old research paper, investiagting the relation between blood types and obsessional illness. The group discovered that there is no correlation and also summarised pretty nicely in the discussion part why and how the previously established hypothesis of connection between the two could be false.
Anyway, I skimmed through the link by Sunita. Pretty amusing to see this growing obsession for blood types in Japan and how they are debunking any sort of scientific basis. But the silver lining is ....matching blood type for matchmaking purposes, might save couples from blood incompatibilty problems later on (in case they are taking into account the scientific Rh factor basis..may be not..they might be having their own criteria I guess ...But, who knows some one may get lucky by chance).

some people try to unnecessarily provoke. Jat mind is easy to provoke but it became sort of personal as I had many japanese friends when I was in university and my first girlfriend was japanese. It is intriguing to me how people in a different culture think.
