Jitendra Bhaisahb, Harinder malik was a known poltical figure in western UP politics n has his own weight among other Jat leaders there, way before the time when chautala help him to be selected for Rajya sabha.He was the one who tried to bring chautala in UP poltics n chautala pursued him to quit congress at the cost of one rajyasabha seat(even his son is MLA from congress party) but both failed.......... n both are back to their repective place after a failed experiment
Pankaj Malik also got involved with one of the SC official a few years back....

IN THIS Jat-dominated constituency, the divide is clear.
The older generation still reveres Chaudhury Charan Singh, and is prepared to vote blindly for his son, Rashtriya Lok Dal chief Ajit Singh, 70, who is contesting the seat once more. To the young, Charan Singh is not even a memory.
They are full of complaints against Ajit Singh.
Baghpat lies in Delhi’s backyard, barely 40 km east. “But there are hardly any developmental activities or industries here,” said Harpal Singh, 24, of Malakpur village.
The land is fertile and wellirrigated, yielding bumper crops of wheat and sugarcane, but that does not fulfill the rising aspirations of Baghpat’s youth.
“Land holdings are getting smaller and smaller due to fragmentation,” said Devendra Kumar Arya, Independent candidate. “If there are three or four brothers, and all have their own families, they cannot all live off the land.” Charan Singh, fomer prime minister, the architect of land reforms in Uttar Pradesh, con tested and won the Baghpat seat three times from 1977.
Taking over from his father, Ajit Singh has won the same seat five times, and lost it once.
There is a second problem too this time — Ajit Singh’s tie up with the BJP. How have the 3.5 lakh Muslim voters of Baghpat taken it? The RLD’s MLA from Baghpat, himself a Muslim, Kokab Hamid, is reluctant to discuss the matter. “We are trying to explain that it was an electoral compulsion,” a close aide of Hamid said.
Thus Ajit’s two main opponents, Sompal Shastri of the Congress and Mukesh Pandit of the Bahujan Samaj Party are both hopeful.
Shastri was the man — then contesting on a BJP ticket — who defeated Ajit in the 1998 poll, the only time Ajit met this fate. About Pandit, BSP workers admit he is a local strongman, and insist such a candidate was necessary to give Baghpat’s Dalits the courage to come out and vote against the Jat backed Ajit Singh.

I don't think that Ajit singh will going to loose. He will surely win by the big margin.
Mukesh Pandit is from the family of Gundas, he is no where in the race.

Belive me I don’t have any personnel grudge against him. I have seen my area Baghpat closely. Isney logon ki soch per hi Taala laga diya hey. Its very important if he should be kicked out immediately. I feel ashamed when our community being called “Dhokebaj” and Gaddar. We are from the community “Jiskey Peshab se Chirag Jalta hey”.We are from Honest, Brave, Hardworking Community. How could we support his stand switching to UPA.Latest story is that he may merged his RLD party to congress. abhi ek haftey peheley who NDA ka wafadar tha. Agar yahi kam hamra koi kareebi karey to hum uski Izzat nahi karengey aur bahishkar kar dengey .lekin iskey liye Jat community Namard kyo ho jati hey.
Today NDA is not in majority and this untrustfull, untruthful opportunist changed his stand without consulting to his people(Jat Community).

I have seen people from our community are killing their own family member if they do something bad to their respect. But what people will say about this political Dalal who is selling Jat community on every door. Please intersect yourself, analyze it. Do you know he loosed vote percentage in his own baghpat constituency. BJP did mistake in joining hand with Ajit singh in this election and earlier also. If same thing Congress will do how could people see the difference between congress and other party. Today Mandate to congress is for against regional parties like RLD, SP, BSP, RJD. It will be better if congress gets support from some other independent MP but not by this "Political Dalal". Do you know in his own constituency Baghpat, Congress got over 1,37000 vote this time which used to be only less than 10,000 since last 40 years.

I dont under stand Piyush bhai what you are trying to prove here.If you think that ajit singh is gaddar just because he is just moving from NDA to UPA, thn what about your that so called Imandar (honest)leader who left the BJP just because they could'nt gave him ticket just because of their 'Gathbandhan Dharam',that party who nourished him as a poltical leader and helped him in establishing as poltical figure on national globe (for god sake dont say that he did it for the welfare of our society n community,otherwise he was not having other poltical interest).I dont know if you do have some poltical or personal interest in defaming Ajit singh,but bhaisahb we jat are educated n well informed too,Hamari akal pe tala nahi pada hai,balki unn logo kee akal pe pada hai, jo inn poltical leaders main apna poltical interest dekhte hain, haam jat to seedhe sadhe mehanti log hai,we dont required these leaders poltical politeness,we dont care about ajit singh,we dont care to whom he will support or not but we do care about our Jat pride,the name connected with him or do you think there is any other Jat leader in Uttar Pradesh on whom we can rely or who has so much capabilty to form its own party, who has the capability to negotiate at central level. How could I use derogatory word abt my own community.A community who produce leagend like Bhagat singh, Sir Chotu ram,Maharaja Suraj Mal. My discussion point is about Mr. Ajit Singh who totally sabotage the image of Jat community.
I am extreamly disappointed and not agreed on any comment from my all friends who supported Ajit singh just because of he is a son of great leader Ch. Charan Singh and belong to our community. Please Mention 3 points and proof me I am wrong what he did for the people of Baghpat and its community.
My point is give below and reply me for the same I again request you give me the 3 reason and proof it that he is the right man/leader for Jat community. None of the Jat land member dare to give me the answer on given below point, if you are educated people speak logically not like a illiterate. I request to Jat land members if they cant give answer on below points and if they can inform it to Mr. Ajit Singh a representative of people of Baghpat in parliament since last 21 years and may be he can reply on this issue.
Mr. Ajit singh is one of MP who is having only 43% attendance in parliament (one of the least one in 542 members) I a have some point which I had discussed already:
-Were there no farmers’ interest issues to be raised in parliament?
-Were there no unemployment issues of the area to be raised in the parliament?
-Were there no development issues relating to industrialization of area to be raised in parliament?
-Were there no infrastruture issues as roads, power, irrigation, railways etc. to be raised in parliament?
-UP Govt. has initiated the process for sale of 58 sugar mills (25 co-operative and 33 corporation) why could not Ch. Ajit Singh ask any question on this?
-If Ch. Ajit Singh could not find time to raise these issues where was he busy as his attendance is only 43%?
Baghpat is hardly 5 KM away from Delhi but development work is so poor here that it looks like hell. No industry, health, transportation, railway facility here. It became the Criminal capital of India. Low holding of agriculture land and unemployment turned the situation even worse. Youth of Baghpat constituency don’t see any future here and they are adopting crime as a good career option.
Mr. Ajit Singh is MP since last over 21 years and he is the only man who is responsible for backwardness and poor condition of Baghpat constituency.
