Bhawna, the power that ANYONE most enjoys is the power without any responsibilities. Gandhis have that status right now. They are not accountable in a way a minister or the PM would be. But they can do anything they want. More than what the PM can. Maybe, they are good at heart, have good in their mind, etc. etc. But this extra-constitutional authority that they enjoy is a sick joke.
Rahul Gandhi can be judged only when he takes a responsibility and delivers on it. And I mean a national responsibility and not something for his party (Even Mayawati wins elections). Right now, he is reaping the rewards for his single biggest achievement of getting born in Nehru-Gandhi family.

theek hai congress ki monopoly hai...kisi aur party ne kyun nahin bana li?
koi wajah hogi ki nehru/gandhi family itni powerful hai....aur kisi family ko yeh power kyun nahin mili??
coz the majority of population of india tht votes...thought the family is worth tht power....
if v take an eg closer home...ek beta/beti bhi apne dad ka business hi join karna pasand karte hein rather than tryin to establish their own business...y is tht??
coz everybody wud like to enjoy the benefits of their business's established nature n the contacts made by their previos generation. So y shud it b diff in politics????
when a new person joins politics...ppl vote coz of their history...koi bhi ek dum new insaan ke liye vote karna nahin chahega....n their previos generation has worked hard to gather tht recognition no??? so y shudnt their kids enjoy it???
m sure in ur village too ppl recognize u by ur father or grandfather's name....so do u negate all tht???
