Don't educate me about these developments. Instead, justify these pot-holes and garbage pyramids to the tourists visiting Delhi and complain about the same. And tell Mr. Danny Boyle too. May be he will showcase your deepest metro station and Tallest Building in his next flick.

1) Read about MCD and NDMC, then read about the areas covered by them. Then, you must read who controls them and then compare the areas under them. You will end up blaming the ruling BJP in MCD. I anyways dont want to go there.
2) Thanks for telling me credit card can be blocked with just a phone call, not sure why was I thinking it needs an FIR :sorrow:
As much as it is govts job to make and maintain infrastructure, it is our job to support them in this. Till when will we blame the government without taking responsiblity on ourselves?

P.S. last December I travelled Delhi, including the areas you mentioned with my american friends and I can vouch to you the authencity of the area, as maintained was much appreciated by each one of them.

Yes a reform commission was established in 2005 but nothing concrete has been implemented yet. The recommendation always get reject by powerful ministry in centre headed by IAS. Because they know if reforms get implemented, they would not able to control the system as they are doing presently. Right now these powerful bureaucrats control a major part of government policies and business. And politicians control these powerful bureaucrats. Since power is so centralize, it is easier for politicians to control handful people. The system needs to be decentralized. Centre should not make policies which states don't need. Right now requirement, policies flow from top to bottom. Which should be other way around. Unless politicians don't fix this problem, corruption cannot be eliminated at all.(Specially hidden corruption).Reforms are must and more important than JanLokpal.

And who releases the budgets for these bodies?? Who has the power to make/enforce laws in Delhi(for past 13-14 years)?? Govt agar sahi tareeke se kaam kare to kya MCD ke kaam karne ke tareeke par sakht nahi ho sakti?? It is a failure of Delhi Govt and not MCD. MCD wale haramkhor hai to Kaan-grease wale unke mausa hai..

Until and unless there is a transaction being done outside your knowledge, you never need to file an FIR to get your card blocked! Call their customer care, give your details and get the card blocked. No-one can use it now!! Tera faddu bna diya kise ne ak FIR chaiye pahlam!!

Bhai system agar decentralized ho gya to in politicians ke pass decision lene ki power negligible ho jyegi.. kutte bargi jyaat ho jyagi inki. kade bhi na laave isa sytem ye. hum reforms ki wait karte rahenge, aur ye yu hi malaayi chaat-te rahenge.

If you havent seen me commenting against Congress then you havent read my comments enough. In fact that is what Jit's frustration in other thread was, the thread on Modi. I recommend a read through it.
Khalkhande uncle samajhdar nikle, unhe samajh aa gaya yaha ke discussion kis hadd tak ja sakte agar koi like minded baat na likhe, hai isilie pahle hi aana kam kar dia. Waise Kalkhande uncle jitna closely congress aur Rajneeti ko jante hai shayad hi koi Jatland ka member janta ho.
Rahi baat modi ki, I would support Modi over Rahul any day because he has proven himself on development, Godhra remains a critical issue. However I think Congress is a better party. So my views are nuteral here. Besides, I know BJP will not declare a PM candidate before elections so it wont matter.
