I guess Satinder did gave you a very logical answer on those absurd numbers that you had put forth, but you still seem to be disillusioned or rather trying to be so, just because you cannot accept that others can be true also. Mere to yaa samajh me naa aati ak tu US me rah ke India ke PM pe kyu kaanch taayi ka haanga laa rhya se bhai? Log is taage ne khaali chodde se, tu fer ukaas laave hai isne. 1385 post me te kam te kam 400 teri akele ki hongi is taage pe. Aade to jo PM ban-na se ban jaaga bhai. ye to siyaasi khel hai. kade oont is karvat ar kade us karvat. Ak koi particular policy interest hai business setup khatir?

Bihar has grown, no denying and Nitish has grown a state which was known for mismanagement vs. Gujarat which has a history of being rich. Anyways it is not a discussion as Nitish wont be and cant be the PM. It is the illusion that has been created that Gujarat has only progressed under the secular Modi and sad educated people believe that is the gospel truth.

Because it takes time to get level field specially when a state has been growing negatively for years.

It would be better for the BJP to get rid of the unreliable and untrustworthy JD(U). JD(U) especially the vitriolic Nitish Kumar is more of a liability than an asset for the BJP or the NDA. It would be better for the BJP to announce Modi as the PM candidate, part ways with Nitish instead of forming govt. at centre and then allowing Nitish to sink the NDA boat in the middle of the ocean.
Mr. Nitish Kumar like a school kid is complaining against Modi for Modi coming first in the class. It would have been better had Nitish let his work speak for him rather than pointing fingers at Modi and that too in 2013 after all these years with BJP (and indirectly with Modi).
It is the same Nitish who came to Delhi with the begging bowl asking for special status for Bihar and IRONICALLY calling his begging as 'Adhikaar' rally. This was not expected from a CM of a progressive state. It is right that to aim for the top post one needs to be mature which Nitish is NOT.
Moreover, one of his own party colleagues alleged that Nitish and another top leader of the JD(U) were funded by a Hostile country to ensure that no strong govt. (Modi) comes at the centre. And when the Indian ambassador at Nepal came to know of it, Nitish on a visit to Nepal complained against the Indian ambassador not to the Indian govt., but to the Nepalese govt. The same party colleague openly dared Nitish and Sharad Yadav to contradict his claim and sue him.
The same leader also alleged that JD(U) was in touch with BJP/NDA during day and in touch with Congress during night.
So, all these gimmicks of Nitish should not come as a surprise. 900 choohe kha ke billi haj ko chali.

vicky84 has already given some of the points, if Nitish was a person who believed in anything other than his ministry he could have resigned in 2002 but didn't so he was more interested in that instead of anything else. He is doing the same now, he is bashing modi just to garner the Muslim support which he fear might goto RJD-LJP if BJP declare Modi as PM candidate. If at all Modi is declared candidate there will be polarization( or media will make it happen) and in that case there will be tactical voting so it is modi bashing more for political survival rather than anything else.
Not to forget the sharad yadav has accepted that JDU base had gone down. i think it will go even more down if they break with BJP.Haryana mein jo BJP ka hal hai vo Bihar mein congress ka hai dost. It is always about regional parties and BJP where as in haryana it is congress and regional parties.
Excellent speech by Modi on "Governance". He explained about "Minimum Government and Maximum Governance". I haven't heard any speech like this from other main stream leaders and politicians. Yes there are some good local leaders but very few in our country know about them(e.g : JayPrakash Naryan from Loksatta party).
And I dont think nothing is wrong with it? If a person is taking away your vote bank why would they support it. Question here is will this only be restricted to JDU and Bihar?
And why is Shiv Sena anti Modi if it is about muslims?
Shiv Sena said that naming Modi PM candidate might increase 5-10 BJP seats, but going to loose 5-25 NDA seats.

I think BJP has to gamble. Its for BJP survival. BJP could not project anyone else as main leader. Previously it was Vajpayee but since he has become old and no else took effective lead, So Modi is the only option left for BJP. Modi's third consecutive win assured him as an effective leader., He also have a backup from corporate top notch. Also Backup from Sangh as well.

1) congress is opposition but SS is an ally, fair comparison?

The reason why SS is not seeing Modi or wanting him to be the PM candidate is because they fear their hindu votes to be divided.
