Challenges and Chances before AAP

Why do you think its a wastage of tax payers' money ? I am not sure how much government is contributing towards this project. As far as I know, most of the iron is coming from public. Even if government is contributing some portion, most of the money will be used inside country to pay to the people. Money spent will be visible unlike those NEREGA schemes where money is pocketed by filing fictitious bills. Calculate the cost of real estate of Various "Samadhis" at Rajghat of various leaders and you will find that each one is worth of 1000 crore. Why does nation need a separate Samadhi for Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi and Sanjay Gandhi? I am sure one "family Samadhi" should have been enough.

This huge money could have been used for all sorts of good reasons. A Tall Trade Centre, A Medical Centre or a educational Institute just to name a few. Medical Centre could have promoted medical tourism or a Trade Centre could have helped in attracting investment or helped businesses.

I also disagree with you on MANREGA scheme. It's one of the good work done by UPA govt to create jobs. The loopholes in the scheme is a different thing but the scheme has helped many poor to earn bread and butter. The scheme is also being considered by western countries. You can read about it here:

Rural job guarantees

Faring well

Excerpt:

The idea has appeal even in rich countries. Paul Gregg of Bristol University and Richard Layard of the London School of Economics have called on the British government to provide a “job guarantee” to anyone out of work for more than 18 months (and any youngster out of work for a year). In countries like Britain, there is a thin line between a job guarantee—providing work to anyone who needs it—and workfare—denying benefits to anyone who refuses it. Mr Gregg and Lord Layard are insistent that the government pay market wages for the jobs it provides under any such scheme. "This is essential for the credibility of the job," they write.

By spending this huge sum of money a good hospital or any other educational institute could be better choice to perpetuate the memory of the First Dy. Prime Minister and Home Minister of free India !

Yeah a hospital could have been a better choice.

AAP's decision to oppose FDI in retail is an example party's leftish ideology. Lets see how things unfold in the future. Such decisions will slowly take us back to pre-liberalised era.

Yeah a hospital could have been a better choice.

It is not the PM/Home minister, patel was most popular leader who united India, otherwise, atlist J&K, JUNAGARH, HADRABAD etc would not have been part of India, Hospital is ok but can hospital give publicity in the world to sardar patel, can hospital attract tourists from the world, can hospital generate income equally, Expenditure of 2000 crores, atlist 90% of it WILL come back to the public of our country and some % of income from tourists in future will be used for our public, other side what about thousands and thousands crores our money is transferred to swice bank, Iteli, USA, AUSTRALIA ETC BY OUR LEADERS FROM VARIOUS PARTIES, i AM HAPPY THAT FIRST TIME AFTER INDEPENDENCE, SOME KISSAN IS REMEMBERED AND HONORED

Your assumption is totally wrong. Go and have a look at the poll; "Whom will you vote in Haryana?". Not a single person has voted so far for congress. AAP got only 20% votes. INLD, BJP and others got 80%. Truth is that Phool Kumar's posts have become like a cut and paste BJP propaganda which is so monotonous and does not trigger any imaginations. Ground realty is that majority of people are now debating between BJP and AAP. Congress is not a factor at all as most people are against it. My take so far is that on national issues I will vote for Modi and on local issues I will go with AAP.

First question when you pass any degree, you do not apply for the position of the Principal of the College. Instead, you practise, learn & gain experience. You should improve life of AAM Admi of Delhi & prove yourself. Why are you in hurry for National Elections? Prove yourself better than Modi. You will have your chance at the National Level. U have made a promise to the electoral voters, and Aam Admi gave you a chance to perform. Even though, BJP got 31 seats, still you got a shot. Instead of spending your energy, you are expanding and stretching to national level, which is not correct by any logic. You have no history or credentials to prove that your are indeed any different. Till now it is just mere words n not a single sign of good governance. We have seen your act against Congress. No Sooner you have taken CM Chair you put a band-aid on mouth against congress. Can you run away from this FACT?

Why don't you show the "Governance" & not speeches of Immature nature? Take Security/ Follow Protocols as the normal CM's do. If you need lessons in governance & lack experience. Do a thorough study as to how other successful CM's in different states, such as M.P, Kerala, Gujarat are doing. Kerala CM Mr. Oomen Chandy recently bagged a United Nation's Public Service award for "Preventing and Combating Corruption in the Public Service" from the Asia- Pacific Region. He does takes thousands of grievances & gets the issues resolved. Kejariwal should do a thorough study of these meetings which are planned months in advance. Not like a Blitzkrieg event, just to appease the media. People have a lot of Hopes from you Mr. Kejariwal. Do not Dissappoint them by following your own immature notions and actions. If your ministers lack the wisdom what to speak, what not to, do not let them attend press conferences. Focus on work instead.

One more issue, which you need to sort out is that the people representing the party do not share the same ideology or notions. One person holds a press conference while wearing Party's Cap & says something. Later on, the party tries to distance from the comments saying these were his personal views. How Immature!!!

Good piece of advice, would that Kejariwal had time to ponder over!

But the man is in hurry to pay attention to such basics.

AAP was initiated as a regional party to participate in Delhi Union Territory Assembly elections and before it could have given proper shape or to say prepare its concrete policies and programmes started to taste power as a minority government with the help of the Congress. Buoyed by this ill-gotten power their appetite to grab power in other parts of the Country with or without the help of the Congress, [the party afraid of Modi emerging as strong contender for the post of Prime Minister], have envisioned to befool the public by initiating a few populist programmes in Delhi. But the party has failed to inform the electorate about its internal and external affairs policy, future development charter etc. Therefore, at present they do not have any programme or policy and their only object seems to capture power without caring for means or ends to do so.

'Delhi Police under Centre, not state': AAP leader's comment on Danish gang-rape exposes doublespeak

At the height of electioneering for assembly polls in Delhi, Aam Aadmi Party posters, ubiquitously plastered on the capital's autorickshaws, slammed then Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit of the Congress for failing to keep women safe.

The city was furious and protesting over the brutal rape gang-rape of a medical student on a moving bus in December 2012 and the AAP posters exhorted the people to vote in an Arvind Kejriwal government to ensure that Delhi women were not raped anymore.

Safety for women was high on the list of promises of AAP, which also censured Mrs Dikshit for pointing out then that she was hampered in ensuring better policing of the city by the fact that the Delhi Police reports not to the state government but the Centre.

Today, as reports came in of a 51-year-old Danish woman being gang-raped in the heart of the city last evening, senior AAP leader Kumar Vishwas, handpicked by Mr Kejriwal to challenge the Congress' Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha elections due by May, said, "Delhi Police does not report to the Delhi chief minister.''

And Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal would only say, "I don't want to talk about this right now."

Neither Mr Kejriwal nor his senior minster Manish Sisodia, the only other person authorised to speak on the issue, were available for any more comment. A press conference that either of them addresses every evening, was cancelled.

The irony was lost on very few.

Leave aside sharing power with the common man for his elevation from poverty or hunger,

AAP does not believe in power sharing among the elected representative to Delhi Assembly

as is discernible by the 'Feud' which has come out between Binney and Kejariwal.

Perhaps, he is reserving his comments till the process of ensuing Lok Sabha Elections gets started and then to use it as an issue to garner votes for his party to power !

figuring out the bold, it doesnt make sense to me.

You are debating a person and his decisions here not an ideology or approach and that is why asked.

The whom you support?...... no no the whom I support!

Does it matter in any way whom I support, point here in discussion is the ideology and approach, thats it.
