I think most of people here on JL are from outside Delhi, so they are not aware about the ground realities here in Delhi and they come to
know about most of the news about AAP through 'Bhaand'/paid media. Here on this forum, I want to share my real views about Kejriwal from
ground Zero with my fellow JatLanders. It may offend some Kejri Bhakts, but request you to kindly consider my points with cool mind as I
was also a Kejri Bhakt, an AAP supporter and very fond of ideology of AAP, took participation in Anna movement. Mera Kejri Bhakti ka fever
utar gaya hai, baki logo ka bhi utar jaega time ke saath.
1. Water: You can file an RTI in DJB and you will come to know that from 1st Jan 2014, water tariff rates have been increased by 10%. My
question is that when electricity companies are increasing tariff by 7 or 8 % then Kejriwal was making a lot of hue and cry whereas he was
the head of DJB and here water rates have been increased during his tenure, even the media was silent about it. Also, the meters about
which Kejriwal was saying that they were fast and he was saying that he would end the contract of the company with DJB when he will come in
power, the truth is that the company is still there and the meters are still being replaced in Delhi. Also read the details of 20 KL free
water scheme and put RTI then you will come to know that it is nothing just a political LollyPop.
2. JanLokPal: It is nothing just a political stunt of Kejriwal. Lokayukt kanoon is there in Delhi and to make some changes in an already
existing rule, Kejriwal doesn't need permission from LG as per Delhi Act. Citizen charter is already there in Delhi for all 26 departments
of Delhi Govt.(which is also a provision in JanLokPal). 35 days are for New Water Connection Domestic, 15 days for Mutation and
disconnection both (you can get information about this through RTI). If the intentions of Kejriwal had been true then he could have given
good governance to the people of Delhi with all these existing laws after simple changes or by strictly imposing them. But the truth is
that in these 48 days there was no meeting regarding SLA of Citizen charter which raises a serious question on the intentions of Kejriwal.
JanLokPal is nothing just a 'political mudda' of Kejriwal with the help of which he wants to reach parliament (accurate line is apni
rajnitik rotiyaan sekna chahta hai). All this drama was to get the sympathy of public. If you compare JanLokPal with Lokayukt in Delhi, you
will find that most of the points are same and rest could have been easily upgraded or not required if your intention is to provide good
governance. If Kejriwal was serious about JanLokPal then he could have sent the new bill to LG and if LG/Centre dis-approves it then he
could have easily blame them. Why was he in such a hurry? Apart from JanLokPal, is not any other issue in Delhi? Whats about condition of
public transport/DTC, infrastructure, water supply etc. JanLokPal is not the only burning issue for the people of Delhi. As they are expert
in media management they are trying to represent it in this way.
3. Now, come to the AAP candidates: Anjali Damania, I agree that Nitin Gadkari may be corrupt, but do you know that Anjali Damania had
produced fake documents showing her as farmer to avail tax benefits. She was asking for some favor to Gadkari, but the deal went off the
track. Ask yourself that is she really honest? Also, here in Delhi, I have noticed one thing that all the 'gali-chhap' leaders who are
highly corrupt and dal badlu, are now active members of AAP. Are they honest now? Similarly, Rakhi Birlan, it was promoted that she is very
poor and they have only bi-cycle, but after two days of forming the govt., she reported that her car was attacked (later on her complaint
was proved wrong, meri relation mangolpuri me hai, I know about its validity). My question is that how AAP is different from other parties
then ?
4. Security: Kejriwal had security cover from day one in civil dress. I am not against it, but why all this drama about security cover.
Wasn't it for public sympathy only, to promote him as hero.
5. Bihari and Poorvia are in top positions in AAP and points raised by locals (Jats etc.) are not considered by them. The base of AAP is
mainly in East Delhi where they outnumber the locals, whereas in local areas all winning candidates are from BJP like, Narela, Bawana,
Nangloi, Najafgarh, Rithala, Palam, Mehrauli etc.
Similarly, many other important points are also there which I will mention in my upcoming posts with facts and figures with details as I am
waiting for some of the replies of my RTIs, which will open your eyes.
The fact is that 'don't support Kejriwal if you think he will fight against corruption'. He is simply playing with the emotions of public
over the issue of corruption. The people with Kejriwal are expert in media management. Now, I leave it on the wisdom of all of you.
