Very rightly said.

We as a community have to respect the verdict and the mandate of the people of Haryana and Maharashtra. After all, that is what matters in a democracy.

There are some very strong lessons to be learnt by the Jat community from these elections.

1. Diversify: Never keep all your eggs in one basket. Saving grace for the Jat community is the winning of Capt. Abhimanyu who is one of the possible CM hopefuls. We should thank the electorate of Narnaund to have afforded the community this opportunity to have a possible Jat candidate.

Jats have for long gone for either Congress or INLD. Changing times dictate that we work towards finding and developing newer alternatives if the older alternatives do not deliver or work. BJP was one such alternative. Yadavs have realized this and have made their presence felt in BJP's win.

2. Conciliation and healthy competition is better than outright confrontation: Instead of criticizing other communities (Banias, pandats, punjabis, Yadavs, etc), a healthy strategy for the community would be to:
a) Stop confronting and criticizing other communities without any rhyme or reason.
b) to look within, analyze and recognize our weaknesses.
c) work hard through perseverance to remove those weaknesses.
d) learn from other communities and give them healthy competition in their own language.
e) develop a cadre base across all parties from the grass-root level which will over the years mature into a few of the cadres reaching leadership role.
f) Through good work developing goodwill with other communities so that they also vote for Jat leaders (irrespective of party).

This confrontationist attitude has evidently harmed the Jat interests by polarising the electorate on Jat/non-Jat basis. Nothing extraordinary was done for Jats by a Jat CM in 10 years. But unfortunately an image was created that Jats were being favoured everywhere because of the Jat CM which is highly incorrect.

3. Being Discreet: While keeping the interests of the community close to heart, we need to act discreetly and tactfully thereby projecting an image which is not based on caste lines. Rather on society and national development lines. Making too much noise on Jat/non-Jat lines will do us no good in the long run. We need to develop leaders with mass appeals from all communities and all sections of society cutting across caste lines.

Finally, I wish Capt. Abhimanyu all the best and hope that he becomes the Haryana CM(alternatively holds an influential position in Haryana) and takes the state forward as a leader of the masses (across all castes). I also do hope that now more Jats will join the BJP and do their best in removing the Jat-unfriendly tag from it by gradually taking control/charge of the affairs of the BJP in the state through nurturing Jat cadres/leadership in the years to come.

Congress mukt sampoorn Bharat!
Sampoorn Congress mukt Bharat!

It hardly matters who is the CM of Haryana. If these 28 Jat MLAs can not protect the interest of Jats, then don't blame others. I don't think any other caste sent so many MLAs.

100 fisdii sahi ...............abb ye dekhna h ki bjp non yadav orr non panjabi m se cm bana rahi h kya ?
kyu sirf non jat iss rajniti ko toodana hoga .

It's just the media which is projecting the BJP win due to non-jat factor. The media may be trying to create a non-jat atmosphere to influence the important CM post.

No party can win so many seats in Haryana without some Jat backing. The strongest non-Jat party has dropped to 1/3rd of it's level. The BJP had got Jat votes in the parliamentary elections too, not just in Haryana but also in UP, Delhi and Rajasthan.

In this elections, 22% of Jatlanders voted for BJP. Another reliable exit-poll survey has put the share of jats in BJP to 19%.

In Bhiwani how could DR. SHIV SHANKAR BHARDWAJ get 17K votes and RAM PRATAP SHARMA get 13 K votes if the non-jats were united for BJP. Most of Bhiwani Jats voted for BJP as well as many of Gurgaon Jats voted for BJP.

"we "
Na I meant all of us from Haryana ......not specific Rohtak . We supported INLD .....n now what .....we should be smart and most important Selfish & Opportunist , then atleast we could have bargained for Jat CM ( so called chaudhar toh Jaton ki hi rehti ) .

I can only speak for myself not for every rohtaki......We r Born smart ......Rohtak Dulhan ki tarah saji coz CM Rohtak ka tha .....only coz of Hooda ( n he has won ...Deepender bhi MP jeeta tha )

Very little I know of Politics ....Batra of Congress always won from Rohtak ( MP & MLA safe seat for Congress ) ......but Rohtak ka bhala hua in last 10 years again coz CM from Rohtak .

This time I ( we ) know CM rohtak ka nahi hoga kuch bhi . So either BJP or INLD....low risk in BJP .

( I would like to now back off from this thread ......it would back fire )
Na ji na....
Selfishness and opportunism doesn't pay in the long run.

Rohtak went to BJP, even after so much of development, becasue Rohtak city main vote ki chodhar pujabiyun ke pass hai aur Hooda ji aadhe jat se jayada punjabyon ke dera dala karte.

kyu bhai sahab
ssededhe keh nahi rahe sunaar ki taraf lahar chal gayi, inld ya kangeress hargayi.

To say a party anti jat which never been in power in Haryana, is height of misconception that a person can ever had. If your words are to be believed, Jats should not have contested on BJP's ticket..no jat minister should be in union cabinet..I would describe this as a political suicide to ignore Jats by a party. How long a person can live with typical 90's mentality about BJP.

I am sure you are not from Haryana. Further even BJP and its leaders knows what they said about Jat reservation. You certainly have a misconception about BJP not in power in Haryana. They were an ally of INLD. Same BJP broke that alliance in past general elections with INLD. Yes it WOULD be a suicide if a non jat become a CM backed by present BJP. Mentality must be of pro-jats, 90s,80s etc doesnt matter. If Chaudhar is not of Jats then consider it as an anti-jat agenda sooner or later. Graduate yourself in those terms if you are not a kaccha dhari.

bhai sahab
aapki age kitni hui hai.aapne anti jat govenment dekhi hi nahi is baar dekh lo hahaha

Haryana mean Jat. Jat mean haryana.... ager khi bolege ki main Jaat hon to wo bolega Haryanavi Jaat kya.........

Example :-- Jitne bhi kacchedaari hai Che wo jatland pe ho ya bhar ho sab Hindustand main Hindu chahte hai,,,,Hindu minister, Hindu Pm or Hindu state,

To Wasie hi hum Haryanvi Jat, Haryana main Jat CM hi chahte they.....Per baat hath se fishal gai hai.....Hope Kacche walo ki sarkar kisaan ke liye kaam karegi kyunki Haryana main jayada log kheti karne wale hai......

I think being a Jat, we all JL members would like to see a Jat CM in Haryana..Any speculation before actual poll results, doesn't hold any mass. It's not about supporting a party but how can we say that BJP will declare a non Jat CM and hence, that would be against of Jats. It's all about leader and leaderships style who hold the key position. We have seen Hooda as CM of Haryana but it doesn't mean that no other CM can do better for Jats than Hooda. It would be a pre mature conclusion to declare BJP as anti Jat or pro Jat party..only time will tell what is in the womb of future.
Sorry I'm dragging UP politics here..the same BJP seems a pro Jat party when it comes to ticket distribution in last general election, representation of Jat minister in union cabinet or Jat reservation in UP during Atal's era. But wait, despite doing all that still I'm not in favour to declare BJP as a Pro Jat party because here my understanding is that all party take decision keeping the political benefits in mind. Now come to the only Jat leader of UP Ch. Ajeet Singh who could not be a toarch bearer for Jats when it was needed during last year's riots. It proves that a Jat leader can also let you down. It indicates being a Jat is not the sole criteria to turn you into a Pro Jat leader. It's the need of politics which can make a jat leader as an anti Jat and vice versa.
Again I'm coming to Hooda and congress, if they are pro jat as few members think here then why Jats of Haryana are not getting this. Why they are loosing ground here. How it's possible that a political party can be pro jat in one state and anti jat in other states. Here I'm talking about congress who was nowhere with Jats in UP in the hours of crisis. Are Jats of UP different from Haryana? In UP they were worried about minorities votes. In Haryana, where minorities votes are negligible so they want to prove them as pro Jat. How funny it is..Ultimately it proves that it's all about political benefits nothing else. No party is different from that.
Sorry for deviating the thread's discussion. Politics is like that which can prove you wrong at any time. We can't be stereotyped for any political party whether it's Congress or BJP..We can't reject BJP by saying it's a bahaman baniya party that would be a typical 90's mentality..time is changing.. Character of a political party can be changed at any time. Similarly congress can't be secular every time.
Read it if you have misconception about anti jat or pro jat..will help you for sure Mr. Samar
