Jat hone par hamme na sharm aani chahiye
Gar pyar na ho kaum se to jaiye ji jaiye

Ye naam lene ke liye dee seinkdon kurbaniyan
Sarr katta ke rokk di thi,Mughlon ki haiwanian
Khoon se lath-path hue uss ghaw ko sehlaiye
Gar pyar na..............................................


Haar dekho man-na seekha nahi hamne kabhi
MARSHAL ka mil gaya tha dekho darja to tabhi
Veerata ki punjiyon ko vayarth na ganwaiye
Gar pyar na....................................


Pichhle 30 saal se jat preshan hein
Education chhod di, baith gaye bar mei
AATMA ko jakkad liya paisse ke pyar nei
Gaon harr ek ko Chhotu Ram chahiye
Gar pyar................................


Kammi abhi bhi nahin hei,Jajba jagaiye
Arya ji jaise loggon ko galle lagaiye
Apno se bhag kar duur matt jaiye
Sabhi sachhe Jat bhai ek saath aaiye...

Sahi mein bahoot dil ko choone waali kavita likhi hai...Saare Jat ek saath aa gye to Dhooma tha denge desh mein....chahe woh koi bhi front ho....
 
When I saw the title of the poem , I thought that there is somethin controversial but it turned out to be something lovely.

Dev bhisab Dhamakedar kam kiya !

The only time I realize that I am a Jat is when I visit thi website, ritually atleast once a day.

The rest of the day I just rely on my own deeds and struggles. Being a jat hardly makes a difference.

Haan mera ek Punjabi dost hai. Born and raised in US. His father runs an art studio in Manhattan, New York. Its a multi million dollar business. He has a home on Long Island, New York. Thats again a multi million dollar property. His dad came to this country 30 years ago with nothing. I definitely think that his being a Punjabi helped him out immensely.

Jats. Take my wake up call. Stop aggredizing yourselves. Duniyaa aage nikal rahi hai and aap log jat jat karte reh jaoge. Start focussing on your personal capabilities, rather than playing the good ole' jat boy theme.

Sumit read the poem again...........The moral of the story is the same as you have tried to advance.This poem gives a wake up call to Jats! 'Ole' bhi bohot jaroori hai motivation ke liye.............BTW..I will learn from other casts a lot but i will use that knowledge for the good of my kaum for sure....Bhai Punjabiyaan ke geet konya gavan........Kyun gavan bhai..wei mhare gavein se ke? We have to lift ourselves to be there where your Punjabi friend is today...without diluting our character ofcourse!

Sumit, paise to flesh trade karne aali aurat bhi kamati hai aur bahut kamati hai!

The day u forget your family, ur country , ur community , ur dad's name , ur grandfather's name and just remember ur bank balance ur life is f***d big big way.

Bhai itne hawa baji mai kuch nhi rakha !

Keep ur identity and never forget ur roots and then earn money , it works much better that way man.

Have a break man , I know u r doing too much and its obvious to get frustated.

I have been reading wat u write man , get a life bro !

Ok. I am bing honest about it. For me, my first priority is to make money. Everything else come at later ranks.

I never speak about it here. But I have realized the value of money. There is nothing bigger than money. When in a foreign country, you are starving and working 70 hours a week to make your life clock ticking, no one cares whether you are a Jat or a chamaar.

Times are gone when your caste made any difference. Now its your abilities that people focus on.

I respect your views. I hope you shall do the same for me.

And I am not frustrated Gagan. Its just that reality comes and smacks me every onece in a while. hehehe. Chohraa tanne maran lag gaya. :-)

Point well taken bhai Sumit. I always respect the counter point of view, though sometimes it sounds like a disagreement. Dev Ji ne kitni badhiya Poem likhi sei....Kyu sheeet sa khindaawo so mere yaar...Menne to kuchh controversial na laagya is poem mein...

Aar haan...Chahe Jaton ko koi great maane ya na maane,.....hum khud maante hain....aur hum mein kaabliyat hai ..kuchh bhi kar dikhane ki..aur humne kiya bhi hai !!!!

Laagey Raho aagye badhan ke...paisa kamawan ke. ...par aapas mein khoond na bajao....Shayad meri yahi baat to kavita mein bhi likhi hai Dev Ji ne.... !!!

Bhai jat ho to Jat-Jat karne me kuch galat nahi. and its good to be proud of it rather than ignoring it.

Well observed Gagan .... Sumit you are in contradiction here in your thoughts and signature ..... Lohar ne galti kar di thi jo tene wo tale ne ger diya er aap bangya thada ...
Er bhai je punjabian mein ya aur kise jaat aale mein kime aacha lagta ho te seekhan mein ke burai hai but atleast keep your identity as a jat...you seems to be ready to throw it away completly ...

Bahut khushi hogi mene je tun saare amrika mein manya od arabpati ho jyaga ...par mere bhai ya bhookh kade na mit ti ...

Apni 7-8 vi mein ek kahni huya karti ..... 2 beegha jameen .... jismein wo aadmi bajhya hande ja hai er aakhir mein mudhe muh pade hai er sab khatam .... Te dekhiye mere beera daud thodi suhamti suhamti rakhiye ....

Ya we jats have to learn a lot from the fast moving world and not by throwing our identity but by maintaining it and helping each other having hands in hand ....
