As I wrote earlier, the Graduate Program in US universities is by its format an integrated program. The admission requirements are identical for each program -Master's or Ph.D. All students take same courses to start with. In the beginning all students attend classes together for “basic...

In general, the US universities follow a different path than Indian universities about their graduate programs. The Graduate Program or Graduate Studies in US means studies after a Bachelor’ degree which is called an undergraduate degree. The Graduate Program includes Master’s and Doctoral...

It feels rather strange when we give credence to thugs. I have no personal vendetta against Mayawati. I will simply write a few lines based on published records and facts as we know them. Mayawati was born to less than middle-class hardworking folks. I would have liked to believe that she would...

A charitable trust is being set up. The name of the trust is “Mother’s Educational and Charitable Trust”. This is in honour of all mothers, in specificity, my own mother who was a pillar on which my career is resting. I will get it registered in Sonepat as soon as I came back to motherland...

A society or a system should feel alarmed when a potentially deadly virus stares in the face. Unfortunately, when the virus is self-inflicted and nurtured by powerful homegrown nutrients then it destroys the system. That is what our nation is going through. Indeed, Rajendra Bhai: You just said it. We are producing less and consuming even lesser. And that defines our poor standards of living as nation, where 70 percent of people are living below poverty level by any measures. We got a population problem out of control.

point missed Dear Sumit: Yes, the world is moving at a faster pace with all the developments. But the precise point here that it is the number of people at any place that plays in the equation. Think as basic as this. A given amount of resources/production being divided among 10 people or 100...

The following news was headlined by several Indian newspapares, including Hindustan Times. Feels good - doesn't it - to know that we are 12th richest nation in the world and even wealthier than Australia. ************** India 12th richest nation in 2005: World Bank Press Trust of India...

Well, well, well More often than not an irrational human behavior (or plain stupidity for that matter) surpasses all human imaginations in their weirdest form. This story of admission rejection by DPS establishment of a student who has proved to better than all the rest on the only scale that...
