I was asked by user alias 'cooljat' why am I doing Clinical Medicine Research when I have done Engineering. 'cooljat' feels Medicine and Engineering are two distinct fields. As this is a question I am commonly asked, I thought I would create a thread on it. Engineering can be applied to many...

For visitors to this page: + My name is Aakanksha (only my father calls me ackie). + @cooljat: In response to your question as to why I am doing Clinical Medicine Research when I have done Engineering please refer to a new thread in the Careers\Medical forum that I have just created.

Dear Mr. Kalkhande, Short note to say that I completely agree with your views on the reservation and classification topic (which I hope will one day stop turning up in new threads with rephrased titles). Best Wishes, Aakanksha

And so it continues... Yet another thread on the same 'reservation' topic? Tch. I get the impression that those people (jats or others) who are requesting/ yearning/ begging for reservation and the 'wonderful' classification of 'OBC' are trying to find an 'easy' way out or 'ahead'. (the words...

Clearly, the current system has not worked. If thought wisely and in detail of what a new model can incorporate and do. It can take action and provide the primary neccessities that the current system has failed to provide. Process (summary): Indentification of failings and weaknesses of...

I would not make a comparison between the countries. It depends on the university and what kind of university you are after. Monash University in Melbourne is one of the best in Australia and is renowned world over for Business Courses. It is more modern. Melbourne University is on the same...

The post referred to the impact of the establishment of IIM in Haryana. Additionally, few people need no external motivation/ inspiration. Most people...

Re: IIM Haryana, reservation etc. I have never agreed with the concept of reservation. In today's world, hard work, determination, persistence and smart thinking gets people places. All reservation can do is get the student into the institution. What the student does there and after he/she...

Hello, I was just wondering whether anyone else on Jatland is involved in working in the area of developing wearable monitoring devices for personalised healthcare? I am currently working on developing an initial prototype of a wearable device that monitors and assesses on-site common...

I really don't know about 'technical content writing courses'... I don't know if they are even run over here!

Hello, Sorry, no - I do not have any contacts with companies here as I am a student over here.

Farming in Haryana is an issue that is often discussed in my family. I find it ridiculous how agricultural land in Haryana is being sold for money and being used to either build properties or factories on such a large scale. The consequence of this is bound to be catastrophic in the long-term -...
