Kasimpura or Kashimpura, a village ('Panchayat Samiti' head) in Jhunjhunu tehsil/district, Rajasthan (India). It is situated in the North East of Jhunjhunu City.

Location

It is located at a distance of 13 km north-east of Jhunjhunu, 5 km North from Bagar on Mandela road. The neighboring villages of Kasimpura are towards north - Lamba, North east - Ghumanshar Khurd, East - Maligaon, South - Kayastpura, Bagar, South west - Budana, west Pakodi Dhani, North West - Lalpur. It has recently been directly connected Jhunjhunu otherwise have to take route via Bagar.

History

Literacy/Occupation

Kasimpura is considered among one of the most Educated village where you find hardly any men/women uneducated below age of 40. Villagers from Kasimpura are in most of the streams of education as Arts, Science, Commerce Engineering and Medicos. As per the recent tradition, graduation is common among the new generation guys, everyone including girls are opting for higher/professional education after graduation.

At present there is on senior secondary (arts) school backed up by middle school (girls) and primary school along with private institutions.

Kasimpura has put it's foot in every department of the services. You can find guys in every area as civil cervices, engineers, scientists, doctors, teachers and of course, the armed forces.

There are guys working as PWD district head, guy working at secretariat level, Doctors, Software Engineers, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers and Scientists.

At present there are 50+ teachers mostly at primary level, couples at middle and senior levels. There are around 40+ onboard and 30+ retired defence personal working/worked with various departments in all kind of forces (army, Navy, Air Force) and at different levels.


Cultivation

The main occupation of villagers is cultivation as 60% people are directly and another 10% indirectly involved/dependent upon agriculture. There are dozens of tractors, 24+ camels used for cultivation, providing the latest technological equipment for farming and harvesting the farms. There are dozens of farm houses where families are involved into the farming business. Beside this most part of the village farm are dependent upon the rain.

Every 4th year there is a good rain and good harvesting but on contra every 4th year is alomost drought as well. So people had started to move their dependencies from agriculture to other sources of income and taking the agricultural income as supportive income.


Health

The village has Medical centers including antibiotics, Ayurvedic and veterinary with three facilities (one each), along with private compounders/nurses services to the villagers.

Sports

There are one main playground having facilities for Football (soccer), Cricket, Volleyball and athletics, and couple of small grounds having facilities for gymnastics and physical health instruction, volleyball.

The villagers used to play Cricket during most of the time. Football is a favourite game for the villagers but they play football during/after rainy season when the weather is not so hot.

Voleyball used to be played at large scale but now-a-days it seems to be loosing its edge as, the villagers are getting more into the habit of playing cards and batting.

Besides this, the gymanastics team play for state level every year.

Transportation

There are privete services provided by buses to from Jhunjhunu till Mandella via Bagar, Kasimpura, Lamba. Also there is another route directly to Jhunjhunu. The facilities starts very early from Jhunjhunu to kasimpure starting at early 6:30 am till 5:30 pm every hour service. From Kasimpura to Jhunjhunu the services are from 8 am till 6 pm every hour. Beside this, their is special service to Jhunjhunu at around 9:30 am via new route return at 11am via same route.

There are couple of private vehicles, taxis and motorcycles which can be used in need.
