  • Khal (Jat clan) = Khalvāṭikā (खल्वाटिका) = Khalari. Khalari Stone Inscription Of Haribrahmadeva - (Vikrama) Year 1470 (=1415 AD) [2] refers itself to the reign of the king Haribrahmadeva (हरिब्रह्मदेव) of the Kalachuri dynasty. The object of it is to record the construction of a temple of Nārāyaṇa by the shoe-maker (mōchī) Dēvapāla, son of Śivadāsa and grandson of Jasau, at the town of Khalvāṭikā (खल्वाटिका). Khalvāṭikā, identified as Khalari (खलारी), is a historical village in tahsil and district Mahasamund of Chhattisgarh.
