Badawda (बड़ावदा) or Badawada (बड़ावदा) is a village in Jaora tahsil in Ratlam district in Madhya Pradesh. Its population is 7,655.

History

There was an ancient tank of water here and beside it was a palace. The royal families from Ujjain used to stay here. The palace is now in ruins. Vikrampur is a village near Badawda where there is a cave[1]

As per Veer Jat Parichayavali, Anand Prakashan Ratlam (Madhya Pradesh), the gotra wise population of Jats, including that of women, living in the village is Dongiwar (1).
