Baytoo
Baytu or Vayatu (बायतू) is the name of a village and tehsil headquarters of Barmer district in Rajasthan.
Significance of Baytoo
It is the birth place of Khema Baba (खेमा बाबा) (Jakhar), who was a social reformer in Marwar region of Rajasthan. He was a popular and much revered person in Rajasthan as well as in Gujarat. There is a temple in village Baytoo to coomemorate him. Fairs are organized every year on magha sudi 8 and bhadrapada sudi 8, in which thousands of people take part.
