Hemagarbha (हेमगर्भ) in Ramayana (4.43.16)....On going across that lordly mountain Kala, which great-mountain is impregnated with gold Hemagarbha (हेमगर्भ), it will be apt of you to go to the mountain named Sudarshana afterwards. [4-43-16]

हेमगर्भ

हेमगर्भ (AS, p.1027): हेमगर्भ एक प्राचीन पर्वत, जिसका उल्लेख वाल्मीकि रामायण, किष्किन्धाकाण्ड में हुआ है‌- 'तमतिकस्य शैलेन्द्रं हेमगर्भ महागिरिम् ततः सुदर्शननाम पर्वतं तन्तुमर्हय।' (वाल्मीकि रामायण, किष्किन्धा काण्ड 43, 16). प्रसंग से यह पर्वत हेमकूट जान पड़ता है। [1]
