Jondhra village is located in Masturi tehsil of Bilaspur district in Chhattisgarh, India. As per 2009 stats, Jondhara is the gram panchayat of Jondhra village. The total geographical area of village is 969.22 hectares.[6]
History
Jandera, the village owned by the writer Kîrtidhara is probably identical with Jondrâ (long 82°,21' E. and lat 21°, 44' N.) on the left bank of the Seonath river, about 4 miles outside the south-west limit of the Janjgir tahsîl. See Sarkho Plates of Ratnadeva II - Kalachuri year 880 (1128 AD).[7]
