Kanial
Kanial (कनियाल) is a Muslim Jat clan found in Pakistan.
History
H.A. Rose[1] writes that Kanial (कनियाल), a tribe which belongs, according to the late Mr. E. B. Steedman, to that miscellaneous body of men who call themselves Rajputs, hold a large portion of the south-eastern corner of the Rawalpindi district, and are of much the same class as the Budhal and Bhakral. They also appear to stretch along the sub-montane as far east as Gujrat.

According to 1911 census the Kanial were the principal Muslim Jat clan in:
- Rawalpindi District - Kanial (149)
- Jhelum District - Kanial (2,603)
- Mianwali District - Kanial (785)
