It is the part of Sherawat Patti khap which has 15 Sherawat villages all together

History

It is a tiny village and most of the households have shifted elsewhere, since Govt has occupied the land due to its strategic location. Yet, a few families are staying behind in the village, doing dairy business. If the present trend of expansion of airport continues, this small village will soon lose its identity and location.

Actually, the name of this village does not figure in list of urbanized villages in Delhi.
