It belongs to Telangana region . As part Telangana Districts re-organisation , Rajgopalpet Village Nanganur Mandal re organised from Medak District to Siddipet district. It is located 126 KM towards East from District head quarters Sangareddi. Rajgopalpet Pin code is 502375 and postal head office is Palamakula. This Place is in the border of the Medak District and Karimnagar District. Karimnagar District Koheda is North towards this place . Also it is in the Border of other district Warangal.[1]
History
Two mosques in the taluq, one at Kaleswar and the other at Sonipet, were built by Aurangzeb, as also was the mosque at Rajgopalpet in the Siddipet taluq, Pratapgiri fort in the Mahadeopur taluq, is said to have been built by Raja Pratap Rudra. [2]
