...Did someone say/mention/call SUPERMAN ??? (ahhh, and just when I removed my true identity pic too!![]()

Well, people gotta warn you all; may just end up getting super disappointed instead with this latest Spiderman offering!
So, like the other zillion super-hero fans that week-day's late night, I too trooped out religiously and got to see it first-day first-show [which translates to a midnight (12:00 am) show on Thursday night- or should I say Friday's wee hours)... and came out completely let down!
Why? Well, just too much of a love-triangle/romance/broken-hearts kinda angle for a supposed 'super-hero' movie for me!...
Spider-man looks pathetic crying like an old woman, and before long you simply start praying and wishing that he would hang up his tights for good, and lead the normal confused life of a loser instead.
In fact I dunno which was more disgusting; that run-of-the-mill convoluted 'love-story' angle or the lead actor Mr.Tobey Maguire trying desperately to portray a negative side by smearing his eyes with a black eye-liner and then walking around in his five-foot-nothing swagger!![]()
Well people, all is not bad though; maybe the super cool special affects and awesome fight sequences with the super villans will fetch you some 'paisa vasool' hopefully... other than that I suggest try and tank up on some good popcorn and coke instead!![]()
ps. oh and BTW Hated Kirsten Dunst!... (sorry Deeps!)
Borat was funny
I beg to differ. Borat wasn't funny. Borat was gross!!! Too hilarious. Such were the laughing fits I found my self in that I fell off my chair more than once.
...Finally saw The Good Shepherd, and was quite impressed with the whole cloak and dagger styled movie!
Definitely a watch; and kudos to De Niro!
Borat was an absolute idiot............NAAAWWWWT.....
Well, you gotta watch the movie to appreciate my trying to be funny here...hehehhe..
Kabir is right, its a riot,a gross-out humor!!Will easily let you topple off your chair, surely more than once.
There are scenes and dialouges you would have , I bet, never ever imagined that you might actually watch/hear in your life..hehehhe.Too good. Cohen, the guy acting Borat, himself Jew though, making fun of jew and then THE "nude fight scene" Goshhhh...you gotta watch it!!
Packed with foul-comedy but amazing..!!
The movie simply won my heart! Was so very looking forward to it and I must say, not disappointed at all....
A very sweet and beautiful romantic comedy and hey, a mature and audacious one too!
A movie so very full of witty dialogues and tongue-in-cheek humor.
Stylish and elegant Amitabh falls in love with gorgeous and aesthetic Tabu. But hold on, not so simple! He is 64 and she is 34!!..well, guess enough to, conventionally, make a relationship weird or odd but the lovely equation between the two and how they end up together, troubleshooting and surviving the adverse winds was a delight to watch!
Another reason to watch is Zora Sehgal!! Wow....She is so beautiful, playing a fun loving old lady!..
Music is good (not many numbers though): Cheeni kum hai..is lovely, I guess its Shreya.
I appreciate Amitabh being game for such mature audacious roles, knowing though that it might not go very well with a certain sect of Indian audience. And also nice to see these movies as in mainstream Indian Cinema, which could only manage to make in Artsy category in the past.
Packed with pretty sarcastic take on love (to the extent of biting at times..) and I guess some of us might identify with this "style of expressing or not expressing"..
..( I do, lemme confess, thanks to D..
.).
Well, basically a totally feel good movie, must watch!
