The Mighty Heart!
Fantastic movie!!!....
Absolutely fantastic!
Loved the acting of every single person in there..even our own Irfaan Khan did a tremendous job!
A MUST SEE for everyone.......
I personally totally enjoyed the way Hollywood has depicted the almost hilarious paranoia of the Paki govt. with everything and anything that has 'Indian' even remotely attached to it!...
Angelina was a surprise package here, at least for me...she should definitely be running for the Oscars on this!...(I must confess I have always seen her as the 'Lara Croft', 'Mrs. Smith' kinda air-headed bimbette, nothing more usually...hence the surprise at the effortless depiction of the unlucky widow of Daniel Pearl in this fast paced and edgy thriller)...
The movie was all supposedly shot in India; and is actually meant to depict Pakistan (that fact alone tells you what most people now think of the untrustworthiness of that muslim State these days)... not to mention the fact that the movie clearly portrays the 'loose-canon' style of that country in almost every scene!...
And all that sprinkling of Indian actors (depicting Paki citizens) is very interesting and makes for some very good viewing...

Do these need to be watched in sequence or it doesn't matter?
I guess sequence might be better because the characters sort of develop like that........but as I and everyone said before, its just better to watch pirates without expecting much...maybe just to enjoy the chaos and one liners (and to watch Depp but maybe thats not what will motivate you 
)...I watched the first one when it was really out of its hyped period and in the carribean and really enjoyed the movie with sort of the carribean links and imagining those piratesin history in all of those archepalegos!

Well, The movie Takes my Breathe away.......its become one of my all time fav ones.....it gives u GOOSEBUMPS with excitment!! every Indian must watch this great movie!!
I give it 101/100.....simple flawless awesome movie!!!

निर्देशक शमित अमीन, निर्माता आदित्य चोपड़ा और शाहरुख को नमन किया जाना चाहिए। सितारा शाहरुख इसमें अभिनेता के रूप में शिखर पर पहुंच गया है। हर भाव-भंगिमा सधी हुई है, एक्सप्रेशन में कमाल की किफायत है। बिना किसी नारेबाजी के देशभक्ति का भाव जगाने वाली इस फिल्म का प्रदर्शन अगस्त माह में होना भी शुभ ही है। फिल्म के प्रारंभ में सोलह लड़कियां आड़ी-तेड़ी और असुंदर नजर आती हैं, परंतु फ्रेम-दर-फ्रेम वे सुंदर लगने लगती हैं और क्लाइमैक्स में तो उनसे इश्क करने का जी चाहता है।
जब फाइनल के निर्णायक क्षण में एक लड़की गोल मारने की स्थिति में होते हुए भी अपनी निकटतम प्रतिद्वंद्वी को पास देती है तो दर्शकों की आंखें छलछला जाती हैं। टीम भावना और एकजुटता को रेखांकित करने वाला यह महान क्षण है। आज के दौर की तमाम सामाजिक व्याधियों का चित्रण इतनी सहजता से किया गया है कि मुंह से बरबस निकलता है-चक दे इंडिया। मीडिया द्वारा खुली अदालत में तमाशे की तरह चलाया गया मुकदमा और प्रमाणहीन फैसले पर यह फिल्म करारी चोट पहुंचाती है। प्रांतीयता के जहर का भी सटीक चित्रण है। हॉकी की उपेक्षा के दृश्य भी दिल हिला देते हैं। आज के दौर में स्पांसर का मुर्गा बांग न दे तो शायद सूरज भी नहीं निकले। महिलाओं के प्रति भेदभाव भी खूब उभरकर प्रभावोत्पादक ढंग से सामने आता है। सारे दोषों के बावजूद भारत की आंतरिक ऊर्जा भी फिल्म को प्राणवान बनाती है। छोटी भूमिकाओं में प्रस्तुत कलाकारों ने भी स्वाभाविकता दिखाई है। अंतरराष्ट्रीय स्तर के मैच उनकी गरिमा के अनुसार ही विश्वसनीयता से प्रस्तुत किए गए हैं। तकनीकी गुणवत्ता भी उच्च स्तर की है।
आप अपने सबसे खराब मूड में फिल्म देखने पहुंचिए और यह फिल्म आपके सारे नैराश्य को धोकर रख देती है। आप सिनेमाघर से बाहर निकलते हैं तो आपके पैर बादलों पर पड़ते हैं और उड़ने का अहसास होता है। यह निर्मल आनंद प्रदान करने वाली फिल्म है। गीत-संगीत कथा-प्रवाह का हिस्सा हैं और रसानुभूति में किसी तरह का खलल नहीं डालते। प्रेम कथाओं की मधुमेही चाशनी से साफ बची हुई यह फिल्म स्वस्थ मनोरंजन प्रदान करती है।

'Fracture'- A must Watch!!!
...I mean like WOW! A really cool thriller after a loooong time!...
This absolute out and out thriller along with some of the best court room drama, 'Fracture' is as good as it gets!!!
Anthony Hopkins (an Oscar winner in his own right) and Ryan Gosling (also a recent Oscar Nominee with already an acting reputation) go head to head in this masterpiece of a movie, and like how! (wowieee!)...
Hopkins intensely chilling performance is subtle and yet so powerful and then this new cool dude Gosling holds his own against the powerhouse that is Hopkins... so in short the movie's casting is just so good that you would care to just watch some of the finest acting in recent years!...and then the movie itself; The game is Catch-Me-If-You-Can with Anthony Hopkins' character leading Ryan Gosling's lawyer into the thicket of the thriller (but not without an open and clear warning to him right off the bat)... what a superb story and edge of the seat thriller that will leave you guessing but never able to imagine the superb ending........

The Pianist
One of the best movies I've recently come across with. An incredible story of survival. It's quite unlike many other Holocaust movies which end up look like documentaries of Nazi atrocities on Jews. It doest qulify in the La Vita E Bella genre either, where people scarifice their lives for their love ones.
The Pianist is in a league of its own. It's about individual's struggle of existence. Even as his family falls a victim to genocide, the protagonist, a virtuoso pianist, escapes unapologetically. Kudos to the set designer and cinematographer, who recreate a war-torn Warsaw. A must watch.
