Mentos - Dimag ki Batti jala de

the mentos ad when the boy enters class late... n teacher says, kahan se aa rahe ho, nikla jao,
n when the boy walks bakwards,, teacher says.. kahan ja rahe ho, baitho...:)

hmm... ads..
as follows...
1. indica... the guy gets punched whenever he lies.. 2 cool... (boss.. u're a genius.. <punch>)
2. nescafe...(open up open up.. complete song one..)
3.surf excel..., the boy fighting a mud hole for his sis.. and the one with a VJ(heritage building.. tension... haaah zindagi...)
4. one was of asian paints... came during last year's diwali.. its background music was outta the world!!!


can't list the poor ones.. too many.. :-)

recently seen Reliance new Ad during Cricket matches....

YE INDIA KA CRICKET HAI BEEDU.....
wicket jo le to Jhakkas.... catch jo chhute to Satyanaash

etc etc... intersting hai... shows the real reactions of ppl in India fr the cricket...;)

Nice ones ... I personally like concept ads which reflect true creativity & are a reflection of the brand and sentiment it brings out.

Some of my favorite are:

1) Bajaj scooters - "Buland bharat ki buland tasveer" - Humara Bajaj
A true reflection of how Bajaj revolutionized & changed the image of the Indian automobiles

2) Fevicol - All the ads in this series are amazing. Very well shot too

3) Cadbury's - Almost all of them ... "asli swad zindagi ka" & "kuch meetha ho jaye" series.

4) Airtel's - Expressions

5) Fosters beer - How to speak Australian (each on of them except the latest Belly Dance"

Although I'm using IP TV connection I could not get to view of latest advertisement on airs now a days ...!!

But .... way back I admire creativity of so called " FOSTER BEER " advertisement .

Here are few of them that chills me ...

A woman is shown cooking over a large barbecue grill
Feminist — Beer

A man is shown passed out in a bar with several dozen empty cans
Designated Driver — Beer

A man is shown reading the sports page
Intellectual — Beer

An athletic young man is surrounded by five women, four of whom are very attractive, one of which is somewhat cute
Loser — Beer

A couple is engaging loudly and roughly in sex doggie style
Puppy Love — Beer

A man is reading Playboy, as the camera zooms in, he is seen reading an article
Homosexual — Beer

Scenes from WWI movies are shown, with men charging out to die in no-man's land
Scuffle — Beer

A man is shown after a car accident, with both legs crushed
Owie — Beer

A man is unloading his gun before cleaning it
Liberal — Beer

A mand is trapped in a hurricane, trying to open his umbrella
Wimp — Beer

A man is trapped under a steamroller, grimacing in pain

Remember the "Wake up call"... newspaper boy throws a metal alarm clock over a sleeping mans head?

& the latest SMS ... really creative & funny stuff.

Then there are several foreign ad films.... Vicks, Umbro, Nike... extremely creative stuff

While the pathetic one's - VIP frenchie ads top my list.
 
And I just remembered the Ultimate Jat ad ...

Who recalls the Wrigley's chewing gum flick?
