everyone knows all this and understand what has been happening but at the end of the day he encountered so many criminals who were a threat for the society.

if u give something gud in return of ur corruption , even that is gud compared to just being corrupt nd giving back nothing.

nd i always knew alot about lot of things coz of my background , no lack of information on my side whenever i talk about police or criminals.

who says he is a good officer. ansal plaza shooting was a controversy he came to fame just like ACP rathee who is also known for his fake encounters killing innocent people. If he is honest from where he got so much money(85 lacs) to invest in real estate. His actions speak for his corrupt practices. A person with Z plus security going out only with one gaurd and that one was also told to wait at gas station. Even his sms sent to bhardwaj says that he threatened to kill him in a encounter. So please do not say that a honest officer has been killed. he deserves this. For your kind information a honest police officer cannot have 85 lacs in his whole life if he remains totally honest in his life.

It's really unfortunate that corruption has gained so much acceptability in our society. Instead of trying and weeding out the problem, we have started seeing it as a part of our lives.

Ideally, a corrupt cop should just be that -- a corrupt cop. Let me tell you, before you tend to think I am targeting you, most of us would any day settle for the lesser evil as you have observed above. This despite the fact that we have a third option, no evil, if we broaden our vision and strengthen our resolve.

But I guess I am being too idealist, forgetting that the rot has been institutionalized.

Whether he was right or wrong according to the social, judicial or human rights norms ..... that may be a topic of discussion.

But i believe that everybody would like to accept that criminals deserve the same treatment ..... he was famous for :)

May be he was involved in fake encounters too. Then what about those who may have become his victims. A person who is that corrupt and threatens to kill the family of a friend if he committed suicide is enough to show how cold blooded he was and must have used his uniform to settle his own scores.

He reaped whatever his sowed. No honest officer has 80-90 lacs to give to a friend to invest. Only money that comes from wrong sources can be parted with such ease.

Yeah seems like he was trigger happy - the power got to his head and there is a great chance that some innocent people got pinched. They need these encounter specialists because our law and order system does not work.

A person who is that corrupt and threatens to kill the family of a friend if he committed suicide is enough to show how cold blooded he was and must have used his uniform to settle his own scores.

Maybe ur right .......... but who is confirming that ..... 3-4 days ..... 7-8 stories .......... and what about those persons who are killing people without wearing a uniform ............... was it his fault that he was wearing a uniform.

So that 80-90 lakhs bothering you only but not the duty he did in past ....... ok just try to kill a person for money once ...... maybe Indian police don't take any pain for the ciitizens ( generally ) but a fake encountrist can't ever reach on such a high post just on the credit of fake enounters only ........... it needs a courage to kill a person even when you have a licence to kill ...... criminals always have a way to escape but a responsible person is always answerable to the authorities ....

Ideally it should be like what u have said but realistically it is what i have said.

Things can only be improved step by step. U got to be real in the way u think and do things or u will fail.

Absolutely Vijay! At the end of the day he did the things. By hook or by crook! Thats how its done when crime cross the limits. otherwise its next to impossible to control.

Sid ! yes,he was trigger friendly & had a big head but as u said this society need these encounter specialists.
whenever army, police/law enforcement operates in uncontrollable situations, innocent people always have to pay the price in some way. mistake happens and sometimes its unavoidable.

heroism is diffrent from being in LAW and practising the powers given in a lawfull manner, feeling sorry for his demise but then if he was wrong he was wrong ... why do we forget that because of corrupt law authorities only these desired to be hanged criminals come up to surface ... and the so called money earned by ACP was protection money .. can any act of his duty perfectness (as expressed by many) justify giving shelter to criminals for money ...

dosent this goes on to prove that he was a mere businessman in khakhi who would blow few for name and few for money and rest was the by product - the good/bad name he got and wot all he left behind (materialistic things)

its more like every situation has a good and bad perspective in this case as for me, my soul doesn't permits me to praise the guy, though do feel sorry for him and his family ...

I was quite surprised to see his family pushing for a CBI probe as i thought they would opt to remain out of controversy as it might put the ACP in bad light... may be they are not aware of the outcome.

yaar sare kaam karne padte hai network chalana hai to..agar aram se nokri karni hai aur kuch khas nahi karna to u can lay low and retire with comfort.

I wont worry about saying anything politically right because its jatland, all between brothers nd sisters

Lot of these people are worried about what is good or what is bad. I have noticed lot of comments on honesty here. It is very true that we Indians are too much hypocrate. If these people are so Gandhiwadi then why any person from India did not raise a question about the detention of a child of Canadian origin(KHADR) by US authorities without trial and there are many more stories like that in Iraq and Afghanistan but US press never cricised the US government. Is that not a voilation of Human Rights? I know that a majority of police men pisses in their pants before these hard core criminals who can not be handled by just rule of law.

There is law to deal with corruption. Nobody knows the truth and all the words uttered by somebody, who is arrested, are taken for granted. Really, I feel pity on the thinking of these people. It is true that in a democratic society, every one has a right to speak but that does not mean say whatever you like. One should weigh the facts and then speak. Every thing printed in media is not truth. Media sells their story by sprinkling "MASSALA" on it because people like that way.

gagan bhai ... network is run by intelligence and not by personal hunger .. manna ki network key liye bhi paise ki jarurat hai lekin if u can read the fine line in my earlier post ... things would be much clear .. . rahi baat comfort ki tou police ki naukri mei kam sei kam iss desh mei physical comfort tou hai nahi ... lets acknowlige this fact .. haaan paise ka comfort jarur hai . ..

aur haaan 300 cr ki personel property sei network nahi chalta ... khaer hum isss insaan ko hi kyu galat bolley maximum are from the same category ...
haaan aek sach hai ... chahey khuch bhi ho kam sei kam 54 tou kam hue aur unhe dekh key shayad kai guna jyada ... thoddey bahut tihar mei bhi honggey ...

insaan ki niyati hai galat karney ki ... chahe usne koisa bhi coat pehena ho ... safed / kala / khakhi / ya jurm ka .. . jitni safai hui utni key liye hi santosh karna bhi galat nahi

lekin galat tou galat hai ... tankhwaa hum tax payers devvey arr mauj levvey koi aur ... yaa baat ghanni dukkhey sei. . bakhat padan pae aaap thanney mei ghus key tou dekkho ... ppl at seat ka raviyyya sab kimmm bakkk dega dost ..

aaaj dilli mei respectable makaaan lena aek well settled aadmi key liye bhi asambhav ho gaya hai ... imaandaar ki baat choud dou bhai ... kya yeah sab aise hi paisey ka natija nahi hai ... tou if we as a society see it ... we are the only ones at loss ... but who cares to look at the macro effect ...

RULE OF LAW SIMPLY DOSEN'T EXIST FOR THE un-affordable IN THIS COUNTRY

still sympathetic and feeling sorry for the cop and his family

Your comments indicate that you are aware of the outcome of investigation well in advance???????

If that is the case then
either you were at the scene of the crime and you(I mean eye witness) know what transpired before and after the crime
or you are close to Bhardwaj(the accused Killer) who shared his story with you.

In both situations you can help the police and can save tax money which will be spent on investigation. So, please come forward and help the police.

I don't understad why the ppl are getting crazy for that bloody corrupt KHAKI. He was merely a link of the syndicate that bloody politician run and provide shelters to high profile criminals. He would established rapport with those criminals , if anyone among them seemed to be a threat for the politicians, he encountered him taking advantange of personal relations and got rewarded . He was nothing more that a cheater:o

ussne RAJBEER RAMALA arr PUSPENDRA JAAT kyooker maare the iska to bara hogga aap logga ne.......iski mahima ka gungaan raahan hi do.

My friend, just to remind you of another stereotype: we Indians are also the rankest hero-worshippers. Anyways, let’s not stretch the argument like a bubblegum. In fact, I don’t want to argue and I am sure neither do you.

However, I just want to make a few points clear. One of them is that I am with you on all the fake encounters that Rajbir Singh did of real criminals. We all know how long it can take for our courts to actually, if at all, mete out the justice and trial and punish the outlaws.

Law enforcement agencies have to take a detour from the course of law to orchestrate encounters and, mostly, justifiably execute the criminal.

Had it happened to Omar Sheikh, when he was in behind bars in India before getting released, with four others, in lieu of IC 814 passengers, who knows Daniel Pearl might have been alive. So, unfortunate that might be, but fake encounters sometimes are a necessary evil.

However I am not talking about the encounters. I am talking about when the freehand that is given to the hitmen – be that Rajbir Singh or Daya Nayak – is used by them to get the personal favors done. Like striking a land deal, as is alleged in Rajbir’s case, or joining hands with one gang to selective eliminate the members of the rival outfits, as was in Daya Nayak’s case.

We don’t the truth is in Rajbir’s case. Let’s wait for that.

Acknowledged such people must be for doing their jobs and eliminating criminals; but they ought to be chastened if they stray and the power, flowing from the barrel of their guns, corrupts them.

Lot of these people are worried about what is good or what is bad. I have noticed lot of comments on honesty here. It is very true that we Indians are too much hypocrate. Your comments says "I was quite surprised to see his family pushing for a CBI probe as i thought they would opt to remain out of controversy as it might put the ACP in bad light"

In brief your comments clearly says " CBI probe might put the ACP in bad light"

You have written " I thought": what are the basis of this thought and how you reached on the conclusion mentioned above.
I read your comments very well and you can ask any one else also for interpretation.

It is easy to comment on any topic but one must take care of the words and conclusions drawn on a sensitive topic.
Thanks.
