Bro, kudos! I second ur thoughts word by word! u've explained it very well. :)

But question still remains same, who'll punish them? Supreme Court? If yes then what if Chief Justice himself is corrupt?!?

Our system has become so much complicated & wasted that it requires complete overhauling, Seriously!!

In my opinion, There shud be one 'Janta ki Adalat' fromed by Janta themselves like they choose these Netas for Govt; and the Guilty must be punished by Janta ki adalat in democratic manner! :)

Head of a country/state has the moral and constitutional responsibility as mentioned by deshwal uncle to ensure the security of its citizen and well functioning of the system. And if one is not doing justice with his responsibility then there is nothing wrong in prosecuting him. Negligence must be punished so to make other aware.

As some respected members argued that system of a govt is too large then a corporation. But I don’t think size matters here. System is completely hierarchical and everyone in the system is connected with each other and answerable in some way.

If the head of the state/country do his job with full responsibility and attentively then there is no reason that his subordinates won’t do. If he don’t accept any excuses from his colleague or subordinates and committed to produce the result then his subordinates will have to perform at any cost because in such a situation they will left with only two option either to vacant the post or perform, and in this way everyone in the system will make sure that he is able to do his part and has done what his boss or his job required.

Though there have been lots of examples of removing/suspending officers for negligence but that happens at very low level and these cases hardly brought any change in the system because people at top hardly get active. These people do nothing instead of playing blame game and saving the face of their government.

This system can function well only if we start fixing the responsibility from top to down rather than from down to top because people at top posts always understand their duty over just by suspending few officers at lower ranks for the negligence.

You can see through few examples that how irresponsibly they behave/react :

After every terrorist attack, There will be a statement from home minister that we have informed the state for likely threats of terrorist attack. their duty is over?

Now the state government will either say that we have not received any information or will say it was just a general update. Rajasthan government reacted something like that after the comments of Home Ministry.

One terrorists who was involved in Jaipur bomb blast was arrested few months back and later released. After the blast when his name came in suspected, head of the police department was asked by the media that why did you release him and then he replied mujhe nai pata wo kese release kiya gaya lakin uske release ke order upar se aye the. ...and duty is over. ...Now nobody know ab yeh upar hai kaun.

Head of the Rajasthan Police department admitted that he received the information from some resources of terrorists’ movement in the city but he didn’t take any action as he assumed that that information may not be genuine. Shouldn’t he cross verify the news/information for the assurance? Was not it negligence? To our wonder he is still enjoying his post and nobody in the government is ready to take moral responsibility.

It is the negligence of those people who are heading the government that caused the death of 100 of innocents.

Then why the hell they should not be prosecuted.

Dear Deshwal Sahab,

It is because of this reason, we must have debates in elections at every level like the one we have in US. When some one says, I will do this if elected. The question to be asked "How" and in "What Time Frame", "What resources will you use and from where those will come".

The leader who has a plan will answer, others, will prove otherwise.

i guess the debate system is a part of their election system not because of LAW but may be its in practice from a long time and would have evolved with time .... and today its a practice and a "right to know of a voter"

sadly here elections boil down to castism and opportunism and the same have been discussed more than 1000times on this portal and else where so no point giving our head once again on it

Good Topic

It seems logical that the head of state/country or deptt should resign on moral grounds accepting his failure ... but what to be done if this is the propeganda of opposition .... these communist parties are having strong lobbies in banks and railways etc .... they can go to any extent .... haan ye hona chahiye ki inquiry should be fare and punishments harsh.

Aur bhai ye supreme court ki corruption ka to maine aapke indira -emergency wale thread mein likha tha how at that time also she promoted the supreme court chief ahead of 4 people in hierarchy .... wa gandagi eeb kati nichale star tak pahuch gae hai.

I was talking to one of a senior eng at HAL ... he told that when mulayam was defence minister ... there was a GM who was very sharp and nice fellow ... he worked hard ... but due to performance he transfered some lower rank yadav guy to some other base ... what happened you know? .... Mulayam singh asked him to step down ... he left HAL and joined some private company and now serving some foreign company and they are paying high for his talent which that cheap fellow who was crowned as defence minister didnt knew.

I remember the incident when Russian Defence Minister visited India few years back and Mulayam Singh was Defence Minister of India ...... Russian Minister was so enthuaistic to meet his Indian counterpart about some defence deals but our Defence Minister was busy in forthcoming UP elections and didn't had time for any meeting ...

Now our govt is complaining that Admiral Gorshkov is not being handed over to India within the time.

If our public figures have their own personal preferences they also have their own ..... and better than us at National and Global levels.

the logic presented makes absolute sense and pitty on such self centered politicians ... what makes me wonder is that these types of visits have certian degree of protocols attatched to them and how could mulayam have absconded and broke those protocols .. . he infact must have brought shame to the entire nation if he did so

also breaking a protocol in an russian visit makes me wonder further ... coz thats some thing india cant think off ... thats sad really sad ....:rolleyes::eek:

how can u make ur best bet (alliance) feel of lesser importance

aapki baaat mei dum hai hooda saaab and thats why running a nation / govt. is diffrent from running a corporation

wot if some one defaults in govt. even an official is law bound and at max can suspend (free half pay without doing anything is the most lucrative benefit in that case) the individual but in corporate things are diffrent the controll and heireachy can decide upon anything and their perview is final and binding ...

even in this case there was a third party involved (VENDOR's EMPLOYEE) and how corect would have been the data provided by the vendor shall not be a mystery ... Mr. Som could have imposed better checks and balances

arrr bhai aek jattan aali bhi

kul mila ka bhai ka bakhat kharab hoga ... na tae kissey ki karni kisssey aur nae kyu bharni padti ... howe kimmey aaagley ka carrer tae chaupat ha aae gaya

I think its enough from me on this topic as it seems i have now voiced out all my opinions on this topic ... kyu brain cells tae owerworking karwai :p

These selfish politician forget that why we are still exist on this world map ...... 1971 was more than enough for us when US 7th Marine Fleet headed towards Indian Ocean during the war ........ It was USSR's intense statement that stopped them to proceed further ... their statement was clear and loud "We don't like any outside disturbance in Indian Ocean and WE are heading to Indian Ocean to make that sure at ANY LEVEL".

I hope people remember that how many times USSR used the Veto power in UN for India against the western countries on Kashmir Issue.

It was only USSR who supported us in 1974. I hope people here know what 1974 stands for.

A Minister from that country visits India and our selfish politicians didn't had time to talk to him ............ Now what we can expect from them
