legend says tht archimedes discovered the principle of displacement while stepping into a full bath. he realized tht the water tht ran over equaled in volume to the submerged part of his body. thru further experiments, he deduced the vry famous "archimedes principle" btr known as the "law of bouyancy" wch says: "any material or object immersed in a fluid will tend to rise thru the fluid if the fluid density is greater than the material density. the force associated with buoyancy is the difference btwn the weight of the displaced fluid nd the weight of the immersed material".

I was referring to distance and displacement! Very basic physics:

Distance is a scalar quantity which refers to "how much ground an object has covered" during its motion.
Displacement is a vector quantity which refers to "how far out of place an object is"; it is the object's overall change in position.

eureka !!! .... redefined.

abv was yr version of defining distance vis a vis displacement. there is a big difference btwn theoretical interpolation nd practical implementation.

here is my version (practical implementation):
vry simply... if there wud hav been no displacement, no distance wud hav bn covered by archemedes. :D the distance was covered, b.cos he observed displacement. :D:D hence distance nd displacement r related to each other. ;)

if u feel like covering lot of distance after displacement... then please proceed. :tamatar the amount of distance covered by you will surely have sum relevance to the amount of water displaced, just do it... may b we can re-define archemedes principle in terms of scalar nd vector quantities. :D:tamatar:D

if this is selection criteria then here is my choice which can't be denied due to the following reason

Mr. Bramha parikshit tewatia (maha gyani, kahin se kuch bhi naya gyaan nikal laate hain, theories,dil ke saaf hain, par log inhe ulta hi samajhlete hain, inka bramh gyaan samajh pana bahut mushkil hota hai, par apne bramh gyaan se raah bhatke jatlanderon ko rasta dikhane ki koshish karte hain) (STATUTORY WARNING: Too much of Jatlandness is injurious to mental health)

Bahut sahi observation ki hai bhai. Hope koi bhi bura nahi maanega. Jyadatar logoge liye mere bhi milte julte vichaar hai :)
