Udhar Ram bilas Paswan Thal thok kar kehta hai bihar ke election ke time ke Bihar me Muslim CM hona chahiye why, sirf aise bayan dekar Muslims ko khush karna chahte hai.Haj ke liya Kitni subsidy di jati hai Kisi ko vaishno Devi ya Amarnath jane ke liye kuch mila kabhi, Even amarnath Shrine Board ko di jamin bhi vapis le lee Congress bhi to gathbandhan ki sarkar PDP ke sath chala rahi thi. According to me they are all useless. People can discuss the elections here all they want, but the elections will be decided by a majority of low-information, illiterate, semi-literate voters. Majority of the voting will be strictly along caste, religious, regional lines.
There will be no long term policy to advance education, healthcare, energy needs, infrastructure.
A new set of thoroughly venal ministers will take oath of office. They will loot, scam, maim, murder for the next 5 years.
After 5 years the same bunch of illiterate low-information voters will elect some other group of monsters into office.

Harish ji, Saari parties ek dhaal ki hain. wo kahya kare ne ek "LANKA ME SAARE BAWAN GAJ KE" kahan te chhote ku pakdoge. Is Rajneeti ke hammam me saare ke saare nange hain.

Its nice to see young men of the community are interested in upcoming parliamentary election of 2009.This has become more interesting as world is facing unique problem collectively and India in last two decades has been noticed due to its massive development( of all kinds and nature) from liberalisation to nuclear power to outsourcing giants to criket power to cinema.Obviously, densly populated of Asian region can't be ignored by first world( term is coined by rich counteries to assure themselves as master though it is misnomer in fastly globalising world).It is a big market in almost every sense from weapons to soap to fighter planes to cosmetics to cinema.It has become their( Masters as they like to be called!) neccessasity.

Now coming to the situation of world in terms of economic slowdown as started with fraudish and blind loan issuing by first world( Yes Master are at mistake) along with elections in US and India. Definitely US election has been very expansive.Manier parties(Major ones) in India definitely copy this phenomenon.Money has become another name of politics so does the benefits associated with power.This factor seems to dwarf the very much needed core of policies.

Now question arises: Weather expenditure in elections would de-rail the economy more?

Is it wise to view these election in same light as were previous?

My vote would go to any party that would keep in account this factor for upcoming election.Several thousand crore of money if inducted in 'systes' instead of election definitely can change the scenario of present severe problem of economy but it would be sharply eutopian to see action on these lines.How all of you think about this?

Morever, in Jat dominated regions, such as Haryana, Rajasthan,Delhi, Western UP, there is no single Jat leader who can negotiate with highcommand of party some benefits.Not at all.It was evident in previous assembly elections of Rajasthan and Delhi. As far as Haryana is concerned, Chief Minister is not letting any stone unturned to 'announce' everyday new schemes and projects for state.This can be clearly seen as prepartion for the assembly and Parliamentary election. There is no doubt that Haryana has witnessed various big projects including new AIIMS for the country and four power plants .He might have all pure intentions.But question arises 'Why' some backward regions such as JInd, Bhiwani has been dwarfed.Rather most of development has been taking place in Old Rohtak area and the land is acquired purely which is fertile and plane in nature. IN my opinion this positioning of major projects should be hetrogenous.Somehow this denotes the insecurity of his vision which appears to be limited in and around NCR and Old Rohtak region.There are other popular announcements such a Old age pension which definitely gives him mileage over opposition as they would lack in issues againts him.But in election, 'hawa' decides everything and at the present time there is no single Jat leader in Haryana as well.

Coming to the national scenario once again, BSP has put its experienced social-engineering in to parliamentary issue with the slogan:

BRahman Sankh Bajayega, Hathi Badta Jayega'

IT shows that in politics there are no principles.Same is with BJP.After short intervals they tend to forget Ram Mandir Issue but at any rally they recall it painfully and reassure themselves. Their manifesto would decide.

Manier friends here expressed their will to go with BJP, I just want to ask one question, wethere they IMPROVED on what they have been Outsed or is it craving of not having them for five years.BJP is being leaded with an old men with no vision and it is evident.Morever, Rahul Ghandhi has played the game of 30% youth as candidates. But I doubt over selection as they would come from same money lobby from various levels of their organisation.

As Sid has mentioned his grivevances for Indian politics, I just want to say that how old is our country? We must be proud that Unlike USA we have not invaded counteries and fool the public with 'endure our freedom'.Their hands are full of blood with more than 13 wars after second world war.Their capitalism is at stake and thousands of Americans are jobless. Why?

In Democracy, fools elect idiots. This has been going on and will go on. Poverty and illiteracy are the two main enemies of democracy in our country. Until these evils are got rid of (mind you,politicians are not going to allow this to happen), we will not see good people joining politics and getting elected. Still, be optimistic, try to select the best among the available leaders/parties, based on their past performance and future agenda.

I agree to your point gentleman.Person with high moral values and character should be voted.

My only consideration will be the character and capability of the candidate....party does not matter.......cast does not matter.My vote will go to the most competent and genuine person out of all who will represent my constituency.

I think Congress and BJP should form an alliance and leave out the other bunch of jokers. Maybe to do that, Congress would have to split to leave the dynasty and sycophants behing and BJP would have to split to leave the rabid communalists behind.
