Laptop or Desktop???

Dear JL friends,

I want to purchase latest version of Laptop or Desktop. Please suggest??? If Laptop then which brand and if desktop which configuration. My Budget around 35-40 thousand INR
 
Bhai Jamaana toh laptop ka er blackberry ka sei..... desktop toh puraana soudda ho liya...... so ask for laptop models...

Search in archive of forums..you will find related thread for laptop model suggestions....

Rathee ji Ankh moond ka DELL ka Inspiron le loo 14 inchi..

apke bilkul budget main arr 3 saal kuch nahin bolega.. Desktop ka jamana chala gaya...Ghar main gahane balk hoon toh Laptop thoda saa risky hai..
 
u should go for sony vio or hp/compaq........acer is also better...


sony vio ka ye model

bhai yudhvir india main dell service main problem hai or iska koi part kharab ho jaye to orginal k liye aapko minimum 15 din wait karna padega....so according da situation dell is not suitable.........:cool:

Yup, its a very good model.

but Inspiron 1420 is not available in India now!! last year itself Dell stopped it.

u can try Inspiron 1310. 13 inchi!!

I have heard that Dell XPS is better in performance!!

Sorry bhai mere ko service ka idea nahin thaaa...baki laptop chalte hain yaah pure kharab hoo jate hain.. Sytem board ke cost aur naye laptop ke cost barabar hai.. Same is true for Screen.. baki aur ke tote gaa..

ok, i just checked. my mistake: 14 inchi is available in India. :o
it seems they have introduced it again. sometime back it was not there.

P.S. if u are going for Dell laptop/desktop.. u can always bargain with the sales executive for a better price. :)

I have dell XPS with Vista ... liked it... :) ... lekin sarkaari sei.. :)

Anil Bhai yo sarkari ke sauda se.....


Aur ek baat batao Anil bhai, manne suna se dell ke laptop kaam karte karte garam ho jaaya kare jaldi jaldi.


Dell Inspirion...........Dell studio.............Dell Studio XPS ............In teeno mein se sabse badhiya performance kiski se.

Rathee ji, Acer ka koi bhi model lelo, sasta, sunder or tikaau. Mere kan do sai teen saal tai, kati nu ke nu sei.
 
Well my thinking is little different

Go for Desktop and that too assembled

You can get a quadcore processor with 1 Tb Harddisk 4Gb RAM DVDwriter 22" LCD for same or less then the amount you spend on a Laptop.
Maintainance will be far much cheaper and you can upgrade that at any moment you want.:)

Only Negative Point is mobility
