each colour in the electromagnetic spectrum has different wavelengths nd is classified in the order of increasing wavelength as VIBGYOR... here compared to red violet is having the shorter or shortest wavelength. red color, wch is having longest wavelength is normally associated with energy nd enthusiasm. it also symbolizes passion, energy, vibrancy and success. bulls can see it better (though they are color blind).
p.s. 1 : refer my post... what is now highlighted in red nd let me know if you can read it.
p.s. 2 : join cpi(m)... for yr obsession with red color... u'll understand yr heights better. they will also give u a red certificate of authencity (COA).

By the way, for your info, Bulls are not Fully color blind. And they CAN NOT see Red!!
Cones and Rods are Photoreceptors cells in the Retina of an eye
Unlike humans, Bulls just have one Cones only--which is the Blue One (humans have 3- Blue, Red and Green).
Since a bull has only the Blue Cones, they can see Red but can not tell the difference between Red OR Green ....It's all the same to them!
When they attack the red, they do so coz of the Movement of the flag and not due to it's color. They will do the same even if it were Green or Blue or Purple or Pink!

i did study science nd also very successfully tried my hands at engineering. got my chance to work on spectrophotometer's like AAS/ICP/UV-VIS/IR nd FT-IR's... hence got a bit of knowledge of electromagnetic spectrum. having said that, i must confess tht i didn't study optometry nd/or ophthalmology. i only thot/knew tht bulls are color blind nd only get agitated by the wavering/movement of the flag, irrespective of its color... many thanks for the complete explanation.
