If she is such a clever lady to have taken out secrets from the Bhajan lal family, do you think she will be such a fool as to not make extra copies of that documentation/ proof? Also she would atleast keep an eye as to what he is doing while with her.
I had read earlier that she even kept each and every sms that he had ever sent her...even if she had to buy a new mobile as the mobile memory got full....I think she was not being fooled around even if Chaand's intention was that.(this came in indianexpress, tribune etc.)
Also any normal person will not do such a public drama at the cost of his own children and wife, just for the sake of politics.
I personally think that this guy is a drug/ alcohol abuser and has a low IQ. He is not as cunning as his father or brother. That does not mean that he is a nice human being, just that he is stupid, irresponsible and an addict to different controlled substances...(possible charas, cocaine etc)
If at all, all this naatak has done damage to the bhajan lal parivar and their political image. I think what is more probable is that Bhajan lal himself could have had this guy literally abducted or pressurized back to London atleast for the time while the elections were due and Bhajan lal's image was at stake in hissar.
now that the show is over and bhajan lal won, he might have loosened the leash which led this guy running back to india and back to his old drunk/ devdas habits.
this is just my personal opinion and I do not claim correctness of my thoughts above. They seem logical and probable, but might not be correct.

हाँ विकास भाई .... जो आप कह रहे हो... सच हो सकता है ..... लेकिन कुछ राज जरूर हैं फिजा के पास .... नहीं तो ऐसे नाक रगड़ते हुए वापस नहीं आता .....
एक हफ्ते पहले ही इसने अपने पंचकुला वाले घर से बयान दिया था कि मैंने शराब, चाय और फिजा तीनो को छोड़ दिया है.... लेकिन फिर पंहुंच गया ......
एक कारण यह भी हो सकता है कि यह चाहता है कालका से चुनाव लड़ना .... और नहीं चाहता कि फिजा कि वजह से इसको लोग वोट न दे...... या फिर फिजा कोई ड्रामा करे ..... सो फिजा के साथ चिपक कर फिर से यह दिखाना चाहता है कि यह उस से साचा प्यार करता है.... ताकि जनता इसका भरोसा करे......... लेकिन वोह पानी एब मुल्तान ढल लिया..... योह तो गया काम तें ....

If what you say is true, then it was an overtly stupid plan from his side. It is possible as his actions, body language and statements show that he is very immature and foolish.
(for e.g. he had once given a statement from London when asked by media that what do you wish to say about Fiza...he said 'bhadiya cheez hai'!! I guess you might have read that. And it created a stir at that time as Fiza said that how can he call her a 'cheez' that can be used and thrown away like soap or clothes.
also from his kalka mla times, it is well known that he is a womanizer and an alcoholic too, further he takes charas also (from what i have heard, ofcourse i have not supplied it to him so cant be sure)
If he thinks that the women of kalka or the general public will gain sympathy by him coming back to fiza, then he has had it already. How can he expect sympathy for ditching his innocent wife and children in middle age, changing his relegion and acting like an 18 yr old?

Anyways Fiza got what she needed -- i.e. publicity
In india, history is witness that after publicity, you can easily enter politics. Positive or negative publicity does not make any difference.
Gradual progression occurs: Get in limelight somehow, if you are young then make some films or song albums etc...then when u are a big actor/ actress then graduate into serious politics...
whether you were phoolan devi or had crushed people under your car when drunk, you can be a great leader
Or if you can win a medal in some sport that will make you stand out, then you can follow the route of film industry eventually culminating in 'samaaj sewa' or politics
