a new jat maha makkar is developing out of those brahmins of sindh, those rajputs of rajasthan, those banias of undivided punjab...where the new advisors of jat land against reservation exceed tilak, talwar and taraju....a new mahamakkar jat is developing that wd keep quite or will be negative on the name of rozi roti for their own blood brothers...even if they are sitting for rozi roti...for thousand of miles away...n certainly such jats did not fall from heaven...but just the ordinary one....otherwise why should they have left their motherland for rozi roti?.....
Nandal Sahib
Your tone is uncalled for and unnecessary.
Your approach will create an unnecessary divide, between Jats in India and Jats abroad.
There are plenty of well off Jats in India, who do not wish to have anything to with reservation. There are plenty, who having achieved economic and social status, then look down upon their brethren in the villages, as being of a lower class than themselves, and do not want to associate with them. I know a few. They do not wish to admit they are Jats.
Our goal here is to do what we can to uplift our community, to provide a forum for discussion, and hope that many will come forward to create and join initiatives towards that end.
Our goal is also to encourage people to learn about their history, in a way, that interests them, and to draw inspiration from it.
I for one do not wish to follow a high and mighty approach.
People who take the time to post are the those who are concerned and are well wishers of the community.
We are grateful for their participation.
Your accusations and tone will not encourage people to participate.
I think ,all of us understand and are grateful for your passion. Passion is important. It is also important to allow a voice to others, and to keep the discussion rational and on an even keel.
We all have a common goal.
BTW , I am not a historian with any great knowledge. I am simply a student of history, with many many limitations in my knowledge.I am just trying to get more people involved, and to share what we find, and hope others will join in to improve upon what is already there. Important in that is to question, and criticize.
Where a person is located, what they do is not important. It is only important that they participate and their post be respectful of others.
Are you uploading the Gurnam Singh report, so that it can be discussed?
Ravi Chaudhary.
