Sahi baat hai Anil bhai, but this award will somehow help in boosting the morale of other students currently residing there, who are studying as well as doing some jobs.

Ye koi itni badi cheez nahi hai jisse khushi ki laher daud jaye ya morale up ho jaye students ka, no body care about these awards. ye usi tarah ka award hai jaise school me first aagye ya inter school badminton mach jeet gaye.

but still its a good news.

Thanks Dhillon Ji, for clarifying the point, as you are in Australia, you must be knowing better than anybody else on this topic..... However, in the midst of all bad news when we received this news I thought to share it with all...

Let me ask you this brother with all due respect, how many inter school badminton, school mein first or such Univ. awards have you bagged so far, I hope you have bagged many but does that make these achievements small to you.

Its not just yours but most of the Jats problem where they walk away from congratulating other by saying “JUB KE HOGYA, GHANI BADDI BAAT THODI SE”

Anyways, I am very happy for this kid Paramjit, for being an International Student of the Year at TAFE in western Sydney, congratulations to the parents too.

This is a good news...Hope this ends the bitterness that Indians and Aussies have developed for each other in the last couple of months.Hope this also encourages other Indian students to show Aussies that Indians are not there just to be in their country but they deserve to be there.

Many many congratulations to Paramjeet Singh for the achievements...
As far as, the matter of attacks on the Indian students is concerned, it doesn't seem to make any impact. The perpetrators of the recent assaults are far away from these kind of achievements. These culprits have realised that the Indian students are vulnerable as they return to their residences in late night hours. And, unfortunately, the Austrailians have not yet taken any stringent measures which can prove a detterent to these assaults.

Brother,

Good to know that you are an all India level competitor that too in ART but please be a little more articulate in your language too.

Sports: My family has a history in wrestling and army, my late father participated in nationals several times and made HAU proud not only in games but by being first PHD holder in animal nutrition in joint Punjab back in those days, my brother is ex Haryana basket ball team member which won broze in nationals I guess in 1989, I am from Sainik School Kunjpura, I played soccer all my student life at national level, have a little experience in boxing too, yes you are right these days its no more than a lalaji mostly seen in gym, cycling by the river or golf course (hurt my knee pretty bad three years ago in long distance running group in Calgary). Lately got myself really tanned by swimming 1.5 km every day in DLF golf club pool while in India.

As far as meeting in person is concerned, I will be glad to meet up my brother whenever you are in India and hope you will be glad to meet me too. BTW I come from an active political family in Haryana, check our business group's website too i.e. www.landmarkgoc.com.

Kind Regards,

Amit
