Good going guys. I am glad to see the healthy discussion going on about forthcoming elections. Thank you very much.
As unpredicted, these elections would be more than interesting. Earlier there were speculations that it would be onesided but it doesnt seem anymore. Morever, scene would be exciting when Jatland Haryana would be rocked with cascading Rallies which are not less than a festival among populace.
As many worthy members have noticed and posted about ticket distribution by various parties. INLD is the first to come up with its manifesto which includes giving laddus to public for free. Like before Hooda declaired old age pension to 700 rs,this time strategicaly Chautala showered the same, which are:-
1. Rs 3000/ to every unemployed.
2. Scooty to every female going to college.
Enough to create a stirr in public and ruling government. This also shows that If Hooda can become popular by adopting Ch Devilal's style of popular schemes, why can't he. INLD has given tickets to 42 candidates as mentioned by members and remaining are left to be declared after Shraad. It is strategy to wait and watch for non-ticket getting rebels from Congress, probably. Good move.Chautala himself declare his fighting seat from Uchana Kalan which is fort of Virender Singh. This seems a strategic move because after delmitation this seat has included various Chautala supporters. Morever, this has made Virender and Surjewala come together to fight Chautala. Chautala has kept Ajay and Abhay out of elections, may be he wants to make use of them in rallies more. Problem with INLD is their leaking second line. Whole party depends on OP Chautala for its motivation.
In congress there doesnt seem to be problem of second and third line leadership. But this advantage seems to be a disadvantage for CM Hooda. All these strong second and third line leadership is lobbying against CM for CMship. These includes Kiran-Virender-Surjewala-Shailja-Raos. Like last time there were 4-5 CM from various geographical, caste regions of Haryana which kept people people in suspence and they finaly managed to get vote on this curosity. People had thought that CM would be from their own Caste/Region. Smart move. Same strategy is being in use this time. Every Congressi is found saying that CM would be decided by Central leadership. Though Hooda is standing far ahead than second line leadership of Kiran-Virender-Surjewala-Shailja-Raos for CMship. Current problem is the excessive turnout of ticket seekers. Congress would have to face two kind of opposition in contesting election. One--Their Own Insiders . Second-- Opposition parties.
In Haryana always post of CM had mattered thaty there is so much mara-maari with in Congress. Virender singh in a current rally said,'' Haryana mein Mantri ka koi Byont na sai. Bas Mukhaymantri ka e byont ho sai.'' So much is the leverage of centralisation of power in leadership and governance. Hooda is the centre and rest are powerless. Same was the case with Chautala.
Now Coming to BJP, BSP and HJC. These parties were try hard to maintain their existence. BJP has no choice but to go with HJC as their image is of betrayer and they would want to improve it. Kuldeep Bishnoi in helter-skelter broke up with BSP. These guys basicaly are trying to thrive on non-jat votes. Breaking up with BSP has compelled Kuldeep wot declare a Jat for his Deputy CM. It proved in Haryana, there is no politics without a Jat. BSP on the other hand is on rise since Loksabha election. Real growth would be seen in these assembly elections.
Scene would become much more interesting after declaration of tickets, but to public , a great democratic circus is on.
