Is China now really become a concern for india?

We all saw the power parade by china few days back. They shown the power they gained in recent time. And from lastedy months they keep interfering inside indian loc and as a lehman i cant see india anywhere near standing against them in any aspects. Surely cant fight with them and also there is no need to do so. But are we prepared enough to tackle the situation? Politicians are busy in throwing stones on each other, they dont have any care for our country for sure. Crew ready to give our land like 1962? Now china have become more than ever, and as we can see india have lost the control over nepal and china has grab that and already declare a education centre there around indian border what i can see they will use that as a spy centre against india and we are not prepared at all for that. What we are doing as a safe guard or what we can do? I wish i am wrong but in this competitive world is in it not our government's responsibility to make our country like china or better than them ?

Nishant, your concern on china is correct. I personally feel that we are facing bigest danger from china, whether our politicians, security adviser & our gernals accept the fact or not. our govt, public & the defence forces are totally unprepared, illequeped list concern about the real danger. china has properly established itself in all our neigbour countries, she has developed the area around our border, their communication specially in border areas has improved drastically, she is much batter prepared in all defence matters & slowly she is capturing our markets thereby effecting our economy at a very fast speed. Also in international diplomacy she is much ahead of us, we are no where if we talk about national unity & nationalism which are the strength of any nation. God save the country.
 
China Strongly protest over PM's visit to Arunachal

Here is the statement from China after 10 days when PM visit Arunachal.

"We demand the Indian side address China's serious concerns and not trigger disturbance in the disputed region so as to facilitate the healthy development of China-India relations.China is strongly dissatisfied with the visit to the disputed region by the Indian leader disregarding China's serious concerns,"

Recently, China had blocked part of a loan to India from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for developmental projects in Arunachal Pradesh. China also protested a visit to the state last month by exiled Tibetan leader the Dalai Lama.

Things are not looking good for India as China has increased its army in nearby countries like Pakistan,Nepal,Bangladesh and Maynmaar etc.

Latest here is what Indian govt. has said in response to above:
"China is well aware of India's position on Arunachal Pradesh. India's position has been articulated many times. China may have its view, but India's position is clear.No matter what others say, it's the government of India's stated position that Arunachal is an integral part of India."

Not a strong statement by any mean. The statement looks repeated like earlier ones from our side.

We are also responsible for this our govt. officials doesn't care about the importance of Nepal and they are neglecting it and now china is almost get the hold on Nepal.
 
This Manmohan Singh zombie is completely useless, a disgrace.
Nothing has changed in India in last 20 years. Except that they have copied
Western culture, the basic mentality of an Indian is still the same, may be worse then before.
 
Ex Defence Minister George Fernandes in Vajpayee Govt. once said in an interview that why we are have phobia of Pakistan the actual danger is from China and if we in competition with China than pakistan issue is alread taken care of. We were mostly ruled by one family, which were not concerned by China development (even after one lost war) -the real cause of concern now.
 
Our main concern is Media.
Since India-pak is no more interesting, they are trying to create india-china now.
The way they show chinese army marching and planes taking off, nyuun laagai junu ho gya hamla bus.
Cheen nai baad mai dekh lenge, yo media ka ke karya ja??

i agree media badha chadha kar bolti hai..
bt we cannot take china threat lightly.. we made same mistake in 1962 bcoz of which we got clear defeat..
can we really afford do repeat the same mistake?
 
Like other members, I also feel China is biggest threat to Indian security. Government has to change it's policy for China. We should take a firm stand against China. Action taken by India must convey a strong message to China. like Statements made by our leaders must be strong, Issue must be raised at international level, armed forces must be strengthen both in number and technology, Infrastructure must be developed along border etc...

Dear aman, i don't know in What context you are making this statement....I don't see any link between Dr. Manmohan Singh and China problem....China problem is there long time since 1962.....it's related to our foreign policy not to our Honorable P.M.

i am not sure what you are referring to..
 
1. The problem is not with china. it is with our strength and character as a nation.
2. We are not able to send strong message to pakistan, bengladesh, nepal, sri lanka,. What strong message we will give to china.
3. We have no national character and unity except jumping behind a cricket team.
4. National interest priorities rate very low for our politicians and our people.
we have a lethargic and laid back attitude.

No, I am nowhere contradicting my statements. 1st i am trying to suggest action taken by our government.
China problem is there since 1962.....So, why only Dr. Manmohan Singh All P.M.'s since then was zombie, useless and disgrace to country........Point I am trying to mention is that Dr. Manmohan Singh is a part of system only. He is not the whole system. It's somewhere related to our foreign policy which we are following since long time.
I feel it's wrong to use words zombie, useless and disgrace to country for a person like Dr. Manmohan Singh.
I am not mentioning what else is doing for country because it will be highly off-topic.

ManMohan Singh signed off on sharm El declaration/agreement? whatever with Pakistanis. He himself said "Rahul is ready to be PM now." Yes he is just a caretaker PM.

Any person watching them live on TV would laugh upon knowing that it took black cat whatever commondoes (sic!) what 24 hours?? to come from New Delhi to Mumbai and these commandoes (sic!) lacked basic equipment to fight terrorists!

Dear Mr. Hooda,
Mr. Manmohan Singh has been PM only for little over 5 years, if the situation has not changed in 20 Years, then why single him out alone. Like it or not, he is at least doing his job honestly and is respected across the board.

Dear Mr. Mann,

Actually, what Mr. Fernandez said has been said for years by the military leaders.
But then, when he realized it, what did he do as the Def Min, or what did Mr. Vajpai do as PM to resolve the issue.

Did we build additional infrastructure to carry out successful military operations in the event of a war with China? I guess not.
So what is the merit of making such statement?
