inme ek aur option jod dijiye AMENDMENT OF HINDU MARRIAGE ACT

Dear Jats please unite to preserve our culture, make the world know about our rules, Unless our so called rules are not made known to the World we will be called with all sort of different names.

I am talking about the "same gotra marriage issue".

The new channels , the media they are projecting a wrong image of Jats to the world.

Our rules, principles, cutoms, beliefs whatever u call them, dont allow us to even dream a same gotra marriage.

We are not sharma, verma, mishra or arora to let that happen in our caste.

Even today we avoid three gotras to wed our sisters and daughters, this is the unwritten rule of jat culture and heritage.

Awaiting the feedbacks to take it further........

Its my habit since birth to be precise & express a lot with few words.So pls consider little as too much. Second ally there are much more renowned JAT scholars/historians/philosophers who are silent but can replies your posts in better way but they are not replying...(thats the point).
Same gotra ,same gotra same gotra,khap,khap, khap,khap,khap..............................this rubbish/crap isn't going to last for perhaps another 2-3 decades.
To people who are in favor of killings -Guys how long do you think your khaps crap can last.Perhaps another 2-3-4 decades at max or perhaps little.
CASE 1: Existing khaps-
whats benefits/good khaps done other than ordering/influencing/motivating killings/converting couples to sister-brothers/divorcing/boycotting organizing tents/food/clearing fields for helicopter landing for their political leaders to show their ROBB/RUTVA that they have connections with political leaders.
Peoples who are prasining/swearing/ ready to die for khaps have nothing to do with khaps/jat rituals/traditions.Aise LOGON ko do waqkt ki roti miljati hain in LEADERO ki chaapal chat-chat kar Or rifle ka license mil jata hain.YEH LOG khaps ki baatein karte hain badi-badi par bijli ka bill bhi nahin jama karte Not b'cos they cant do it but b'cos yeh karna nahin chahte apni pathetic mentality ke liye.These craps talk about JAT SAMAJ reforms.
For all jats peoples, Todays KHAPs are nothing more than POLITICAL parties AGENTs.They use you.Reals khaps don't exists anymore.

CASE 2: How khaps etc. crap will die natural death ?
Suppose if khaps etc. keep on succedding making fools of common jats etc. they for how long.Change is law of nature.change or die.
Another 3-4 decades decades you will se no reals jats.In present scenario 3-4% jats are marrying their children in other castes..KHAPS pls stop them or better khaps volunteers kill them as you like .
Another 2-3 decades & seeing present pace of industrilization etc.. all peoples will keep focussing on their growth.peoples wont have much time for these things SAAB APNE APNE KAAM-KAAZ ME LAGE RAHENGE.
But one thing khali,nikkame,haram-khor,joh kam-kar ke khaana nahin chhate woh peoples will keep chanting KHAPS-KHAPS-KHAPS ,same gotra marriage topics etc to make fools of peoples so that inhe do wakt ki roti milta rahein b'cos these peoples dnt know how to work & eat.

Is same gotra marriage is the biggest issue in front of jats !!!! Are there also jats who are not getting DO wakt ki roti / Education / medical treatment etc !!!!

there is avery simple solution to this problem. our law prespects customs, so when other communities coustoms got a due respect ( by allowing sapinda marriages) then why dont ours. we have to approach to parliamentrians for having an ammendment in hindu marriage act so that these type of marriages becomes void ab initio.
n then our khaps are not needed to take such harsh steps.

according to me these social issues are meant to be changed according the time and the requirement of the time.

these rules of avoiding three gotras(while marriage) are our traditions and we should follow them. But at the same time if we have no better option then accepting the marriage then we(panchayats) should allow them. One marriage will not vanish our tradition or culture. I am not asking them(punchas) to change the rules but just sujjesting them to adjust them according the requirement of situation.

By following both modern and traditional rules we can set the example for world.

But killing anybody for the name of honour is nither an honur nor the solution to the problem. Even supream court(CJI) of India thinks many times before giving such a punishment.

And also education, maturity and respect ot law can play role in changing the system(Honour Killing).

Ammendment to Hindu Marriage act or a Seperate Jat Marriage Act

I am thankful to all my brothers for their views on the thread initiated by me.

The word "Jat Movement" has got its meaning by now that we need to ammend some laws of the Land.

Whether its ammendment to the existing Hindu Marriage Act or a separate "Jat Marriage Act" depends upon how unitedly we stand for it, It is still too premature or a baby thought. But for the Survival we have to distinguish our Identity.

Much before posting the thread on Jatland i posted a blog for the same on 31st July 2009.

There are some very very sensible replies and debates to the Thread here in Jat Land.

For this movement I request all our Brothers to do as much possible from them from wherever they are in a village or a city or in foreign lands.

There is no fixed number of gotras to be avoided across jats. Western UP jats avoid only 2, they used to avoid grandmother gotra at one time but that practice is no longer in use. It's only 2 that are avoided for past several years. In fact one of my cousin married in the exact same village that was of his grandmother too. And yes, that was a completely arranged marriage where he has not even seen the girl. So, drafting a law would also not be so easy as jat from different areas follow different procedures too.

I have seen a case in my mamaji's village where the boy n gal were from same village and 4 gotras were avoided as usual in rajasthan.
and yeah, it was a perfect arranged marriage where whole village participated. Big fun was that half of them were baratis n others were gharatis n ppl enjoyed the manuhaar in their own village...

Apne aap ko aaj se hi jat kehna chod de aur ye naam ke saath Chaudhary lagana band kar tu reformation kar sabse pehle apne ghar se Apne chacha ki ladki se shaadi kar kaunsi khap ka pardhan tune talwe chat-ta dekha? sab tere barge nakli jat nahi hain .

itz gaun shobhasar (6 kms from salasar balaji), tehsil sujangarh, zila churu in rajasthan.
And it happend more than 10years ago so nothing like new genration impact.

अनुराग अग्रवाल, कुरुक्षेत्र। धर्मनगरी में मंगलवार को हुई खापों की महापंचायत में खूब हंगामे भी हुए और कड़े व रोचक फैसले भी। कुल 12 प्रस्ताव पारित किए गए। महापंचायत में हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम में संशोधन के संग यह भी मांग की गई किखाप पंचायतों को लोक अदालतों की मान्यता दी जाए। हरियाणा, उत्तार प्रदेश, दिल्ली और राजस्थान की खाप पंचायतों की इस महापंचायत में मनोज-बबली हत्याकांड के मसले पर जमकर भड़ास निकाली। निर्णय किया गया कि करनाल की अदालत द्वारा सुनाए गए फैसले को हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती देने के लिए खापों से जुड़े हर घर से 10-10 रुपये एकत्र किए जाएंगे। यह भी कहा गया कि दूध व खून केरिश्ते के संग-संग खुद के व मां के गोत्र में शादियां नहीं होगीं।
महेद्र सिंह टिकैत सरीखे खापों के कई सर्वमान्य नेताओं की मौजूदगी में महापंचायत में कई बार जमकर हंगामा हुआ। हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम में संशोधन के लिए केंद्र व राज्य सरकार को तीन माह का समय दिया गया। कहा तो यहां तक गया कि समाज की मान्यता के खिलाफ समान गोत्र में विवाह करने वाले प्रेमी युगलों का मनोज-बबली की तरह ही अंजाम होगा। महापंचायत में जुटे कुछ लोगों ने इन फैसलों को जिम्मेदारी से स्वीकार किया तो कुछ ने इसमें अडंगा डालते हुए उन्हे सिरे से खारिज कर दिया।
कुरुक्षेत्र की जाट धर्मशाला में करीब चार घंटे तक चली सर्वजात-सर्वखाप महापंचायत में मनोज-बबली हत्याकांड की हाईकोर्ट में जमकर पैरवी करने का फैसला किया गया। निर्णय हुआ कि खापों से जुड़े प्रत्येक घर से 10-10 रुपये इकट्ठा किए जाएंगे और करनाल की महिला न्यायाधीश के पांच लोगों को फांसी की सजा संबंधी फैसले को हाईकोर्ट में चुनौती दी जाएगी। हंगामे के साथ शुरू और हंगामे के साथ ही खत्म हुई महापंचायत में महेद्र सिंह टिकैत, घासी राम नैन, युद्धवीर सिंह और ओमप्रकाश धनखड़ ने लोगों को शांत करने की कई बार अपील की, लेकिन उसका कोई असर नहीं हुआ। कई बार मुद्दे से भटकते हुए खाप नेताओं ने एक दूसरे पर खुलकर व्यक्तिगत प्रहार भी किए।
महापंचायत में विभिन्न खापों के करीब दो दर्जन नेताओं ने अपनी बात रखते हुए हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम में संशोधन को जरूरी बताया है। महेद्र सिंह टिकैत ने कहा कि आपसी तकरार छोड़कर प्रत्येक खाप से दो-दो प्रतिनिधियों को शामिल कर ऐसी सर्वमान्य समिति बनाई जाए, जो भविष्य में भी अपने फैसले दे सके।
महम चौबीसी के शमशेर सिंह ने खाप पंचायतों से जुड़े आंदोलन की बागडोर टिकैत के हाथों में सौंपने का सुझाव दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि तीन माह के भीतर यदि हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम में संशोधन कर एक ही गोत्र में शादी को प्रतिबंधित नहीं किया जाता तो हरियाणा, उत्तार प्रदेश, राजस्थान और दिल्ली बंद किए जाएं। चंद्र सिंह दलाल ने हिंदू विवाह अधिनियम में संशोधन का मसौदा पेश किया। आचार्य बलदेव और घासीराम नैन हालांकि महापंचायत में मौजूद थे, लेकिन हंगामे की वजह से वे अपनी बात नहीं कह सके। मलिक खाप के प्रधान दादा बलजीत, दहिया खाप के चौ. सुभाष बल्लू, सुभाष बाल्याण, सरोज दहिया, कपूर सिंह आर्य, राजकुमार सिंह और बलबीर नैन ने कहा कि हिंदू मैरिज एक्ट बनने के बाद से आज तक उसमें कोई संशोधन नहीं हुआ है। अब जबकि सामाजिक परंपराओं पर हमला हो रहा है तो ऐसे में इसमें संशोधन और समायोजन बेहद जरूरी हो गया है।
जाट महासभा के राष्ट्रीय महासचिव युद्धवीर सिंह ने खाप पंचायतों को तालिबानी और तुगलकी कहने का प्रबल विरोध करते हुए कहा कि यदि एक ही गोत्र में शादी होती रही तो मनोज-बबली की तरह कत्ल और भी होंगे। युद्धवीर की इस बात पर महापंचायत ने सर्वसम्मति ने हाथ खड़े किए। जब एक प्रतिनिधि ने एक खाप के प्रधान पर व्यक्तिगत प्रहार किए तो माहौल एकदम बिगड़ गया। करीब आधे घंटे की धक्का-मुक्की और हंगामे के बाद टिकैत के हस्तक्षेप पर महापंचायत दोबारा आरंभ हुई।
महापंचायत के दौरान अलग कमरे में विभिन्न खाप प्रतिनिधियों की कमेटी की गुप्त बैठक चलती रही, जिसमें करीब एक दर्जन फैसले किए गए है। लठवाल खाप के प्रधान बलजीत सिंह ने महापंचायत में किए गए फैसलों को पढ़कर सुनाया। इन फैसलों पर सहमति और असहमति के बीच महापंचायत में फिर लंबा विवाद खड़ा हो गया। एक धड़े ने महापंचायत के इन फैसलों को मानने से इनकार कर दिया। इस धड़े का नेतृत्व युद्धवीर सिंह ने संभाल लिया। उन्होंने एक ही घंटे में सरकार से अपनी स्थिति स्पष्ट करने का आह्वान किया और सड़क जाम करने का एलान कर दिया। करीब आधे घंटे तक बिरला मंदिर के निकट सड़क जाम रही। इस जाम को लोगों का बहुत अधिक समर्थन हासिल नहीं हुआ। बाद में जाट धर्मशाला में फिर से कुछ खाप प्रतिनिधियों की महापंचायत हुई, जिनमें पूर्व में किए गए फैसलों के प्रति सहमति जताते हुए अपना एजेंडा स्पष्ट किया गया।
