In hadson ke piche kaun jimmeddar hain
Kya hamare desh ka kanoon kamjor hain hum?
There are two imp things to be noted here -
1. How religiously do we observe transportation rules and regulations?
2. How strictly these rules and regulations are implemented and observed by we people?
As far as this particular train accident episode is concerned, I don't know the root cause. Just yesterday I was seeing some programme on TV where in they said that Railway dept have "n" no of vacancies lying vacant and needed to recruit more Train Drivers, the current ones are over exploited in terms of total duty hours and are over stressed.
Largely most of the accidents (road accidents) occur because we don't observe rules and regulations OURSELVES. Ask once yourself, how many times do we wear helmet while driving scooter, motercycles? how many times do we wear seatbelt while driving fourwheelers? How many of us give priority to vehicles on right hand side while crossing a roundal (chowk)? Do we remain considerate and tolerant enough for others while being on road? And above all, how many of us have genuine driving license (after some training and driving class)?
The second best thing could be implementing these "Rules and regulations" strictly where "desk ka kanoon" comes into picture and most importantly EDUCATING people about these rules and rugulations through different communication mediums (FMs, radios, news, TV, special compaigns) etc...

Mor Sahab, correct ... yesterday i saw 2 policeman on bike without helmet & the one who was driving the bike was talking on the cell....Those who are supposed to enforce the law break it themselves, what can be expected from the general public??? Yes we the citizens can make conscious effort to follow the rules!!!!
Strong enforcement of rules is the need of hour!!!!
