VP Ji what was the judgement criteria that only YOU n AKSHAY qualified for HIGH MORAL CHARACTER:D
Akshay, don't assume that everyone is bearing the same high moral character as you (and me, of course) bear. If you want to have a reality check, I can provide you a vivid narration of some more success stories which I am unable to do here on JL due to certain restrictions.

VP singh ji, its not about character of mine or yours. It is about right or wrong and representing our deeds/ideas to younger ones.

Are we encouraging "do what you can to achieve your goals"?

Then we have no right to blame others. They are within their rights of achieving goals by their own means.

Akshay, I fully agree with you, it is about right or wrong. The idea of discussion about negative things is to let our youngsters know that this is immoral and that they should never indulge in such type of acts to gain success.

Akshay I think it is more of an individual’s choice......to progress in one's career people get involved in various sort of disgusting and dirty tactics be it office politics or affair. They are both bad and are dirty short cuts but does it stop people from taking this path answer is "NO". :)
Definitely no one has encouraged or is encouraging any of these attributes but it’s more about bringing it out in open and shedding light on such bad practices. The repercussions of getting involved in such practices can be severe and damaging as well. I am sure every adault is aware of this but they still choose to get involved in these practices. Humare ducuss karne se koi mere khyal se encourage to nahin hoga shayad discourage zaroor hoga kyunki no one supports such practices. :)

Yeah, no one support such practices but when it comes to individual's choice "everthing is fine". People have different opinion for self and others. What is wronge for other can be right for us.

Sexual harrasment policy is a joke considering the no. of such incidents happening in corporate sector. Now if two individuals are " KAADHING KAAM" with each other then it okay. But if one is not interested then the other one is the most LUCHA person in the world.

No even if an individual chooses to follow this disgusting path to move up in life I totally disapprove of it or rather society disapprove of it.
That's why it is beneficial that such practices are discussed to shed light on it and prove it is heinous to take such a path:)

Nothing is wrong in today's world

I guess, Narender ji wanted to say that it is only our thinking which makes things good or bad. I remember having read a Hindi novel titled "Chittralekha" written by Bhagwaticharan Verma, which used to be a part of our curriculum (Commerce Stream) in Delhi University long back. I faintly remember, the novel revovles around three main characters Chittralekha, Mrituanjaya and Beejgupt. I think, Beejgupt was an apparent "Bhogi" and Mritunjaya was an apparent "Yogi" with Chittralekha being sandwitched in between the two. The conclusion drawn by me was; what seems a reality could be a deception and what seems an illusion could be a reality. In the novel, the writer has tried to expose the hypocrisy of fake and confused Sanyaasis. He has explained that a person surrounded by all worldly pleasures may prove to be an epitome of morality and a person in the guise of a Sadhu can be a fraud. It is a good read and I would recommend it to those who can read Hindi.

Yes, Chitralekha is a beautiful movie featuring the hit trio- Meena Kumari as Chitralekha, Ashok Kumar as the Yogi and Pradeep Kumar the Bhogi.

Some of the wonderful lyrics you would ever hear. My favourites:

Sansar se bhaage firte ho, bhagwan ko tum kya paaoge ... Chitralekha sings to the Yogi

and another she sings to the Bhogi ... Ae ri jaane na doongi, main to apne rasik ko rakh loongi naino mein... palkein moond moond
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TKKhwUaUaQY&feature=related

Yet another ... Sakhi ri mera mann uljhe , tann dole

There are few more:-)

Tere vaade pe jautoh has k jaan de du, mar hi jata jo aietbar na hota,

yarron kamaal h, Love jaseshabd ka kachumar kadh diya kasam se,

Kehne aale keh gaye, yeh ishq nahi aashan itna toh samajh lijiye ik aag ka diarya h or dub ke jaan h, chand attraction stories, kuch ladke lakdiyon ki aapsi takrar or faltu ki bakwas k liye ,its really a good thread those who respect their feeling and dont wanna to share dont share, but truth is one thing , Hammam main sab ik se h but who dares to talk about the incidents of life which shke the character and forget even the dignity of their family and their community thats i also wanna to read.

Uski yddon k sahare lamhe nahi kathe sochta hu zindagani k haal kya hoga, uski bina jab dhadaktha hi nahi dil, toh jeene ka sawaal kya hoga, maut bhi bewafa h yaar k jaise, ab na puche zindgani k sawaal kya hoga, zinda h kyonki maut nahi aati, or aap kehte h , isse jyada bada bawaal kya hoga.

So please share your emotions but raising fingers on characters of each others or saying i m good ,he is bad or she cant say that. please avoid these. It a opinion if accepted then i love to check the replies.

Thats so right VP ji, just look at the so called godmen being exposed by the dozens. Sadhu/babagiri is more of an industry now and nothing to do with righteousness.
And as Sunita ji wrote above that our perception/outlook towards things have changed, rest is same.

I thought it will be interesting to share with members. It has been taken the famous Sahitya Akadami Award winning work Urvashi by Ram Dhari Singh Dinkar. This anecdote is from Chapter two, part 3rd of Urvashi, where Queen Oshinari and her friend Nipunika are talking about love aspects by a man and a woman. It depicts that how a man loves and how a woman loves. Queen Oshinari was the wife of King Pururva who went on saving heaven's Apsara Urvashi from a demon and in aftermath Urvashi fall in love with King Pururva and decides to stay at Earth.
