On the contrary, I remember Leonardo used to look like any other baby-face chocolate hero in his early movies like Titanic, Romeo n' Juliet (Obvious reason he was more chic-magnet at that time) But a huge transformation I noticed when I watched Departed and Blood Diamond. For once I couldn't believe if it's same old Leonardo?!

Became big fan of his acting after that, watched few other movies and his acting skills are shining more n' more. Hope to see more class movies by him.

Ye Saali Zindgi (YSZ) - 100% Original Desi just like Shudh Desi Ghee, 5/5 (without any doubt). :cool:

If you're fond of desi country dialect, admire original earthy, easy going movies rather than superficial ones, luv the village atmosphere n' farms view you must not miss it. Apart from original desi feel its loaded with quality acting by Irfan Khan, Yashpal Sharma, Sourabh Shukla, Sushant Singh (Jat from WUP) etc and new comer Arunoday Singh (his screen name is Kuldeep Singh Choudhary) did really well too not to miss Chitrangda Singh (Most gorgeous dusky beauty in recent times). It's a dark comedy, thriller and story is good n' like roller coaster ride. Lot of swear words used in the movie but it doesn't look artificial. Moreover Music is awesome too by Nihat Khan its mix of sufi, rock genre and meaningful lyrics.

Good thing is our Jatland area and dialect getting its due appreciation and being featured in many movies thanks to Dibakar Mukherjee who stared this, otherwise boring jhialoo Punjabi was making movie watching worthless.

PS: Movie is only for 'Asli Desis', certainly not for hypocrites who use swear words like helping verbs in Real life but raise their eye-brows when they hear in Reel life. Moreover kindly avoid going with Family, its meant for Desi Friends only! :)

Chitrangda Singh too is a Jat(ni).
Also she is Meghna Malik's cousin(mausi ki beti), Ammaji of Na Aana Iss Des Lado fame.

Chitrangada Singh is an Indian film actor, most known for starring in Sudhir Mishra's film Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi.

Chitrangada Singh was born in Meerut in a Jat family to an officer with the Indian Army. She was named after Chitrāngadā, a character in the Mahabharata, by her mother. As a girl, she was known for looking like the late actress, Smita Patil. When she was a Class IX student, she was approached by a filmmaker to play the young Smita Patil, in a documentary on the actor. Her love for acting bloomed early during her formative years, and she also received training in Kathak (a classical dance).

Chitrangada began her career in Delhi as a model before making the transition to the silver screen. Subsequently, she made her much acclaimed debut with Sudhir Mishra's film “Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi” in 2003. A Washington Post review noted her for giving "her character a deep sense of dignity and decency". After that she acted in the 2005 film "Kal: Yesterday and Tomorrow" (2005) and in 2008, she made her comeback with the leading role opposite Sanjay Suri in director Onir's romantic-comedy, "Sorry Bhai!"

In April 2009, she was awarded the ‘Young Women Achiever Award - 2009' by FICCI.

Chitrangada Singh is married to reputed Indian golfer Jyoti Randhawa.

ये साली जिंदगी : 2/5.
किरदार इतने सारे हैं फिल्म में कि समझ में ही नहीं आता कि हो क्या रहा है. बस ये जरूर है कि फिल्म की पृष्ठभूमि जाटों से जुड़ी है. फिल्म का कथानक कुछ ऐसा है कि जिंदगी कितनी भयानक है. यहां पैसे के लिए भाई भाई को मारने से नहीं हिचकता, बेटा बाप को मारने से नहीं हिचकता, दोस्त दोस्त की पीठ में खंजर घोंपने से नहीं चूकता, बीवी नजरें बचाकर अवैध संबंध बनाने से नहीं हिचकती, इश्क में असफलता से जूझते लोग, दुखों-बीमारियों से पीड़ित लोग...ये साली जिंदगी.
वो तो सब ठीक था, लेकिन गालियां इतनी हैं फिल्म में कि इतनी गालियां अभी तक किसी भी फिल्म में नहीं देखी मैंने तो...केवल गंदी-गंदी गालियों से कोई फिल्म महान या मनोरंजक नहीं हो जाती...

इससे कहीं ज्यादा अच्छी फिल्म ये लगी-

Saw What Happens in Vegas again. 3.5/5. Nice light hearted comedy.
