CAN BRIBERY BE STOPPED IN OUR LIFETIME?
Since the dawn of independence Partitioned India has been clutched in the shackles of "National Nondescript characterlessness ". From top to bottom we encounter bribery-in every walk of life. Some even obstinately affirm if as vogue of the day. However reluctant you may be you shall have to pay bribe on one or the other occasion.
Today we just not only overhear people talk about this sinister smear and slur but also we vividly find people asking openly for bribe. In spite of becoming a national shame bribery has been gradually holding perfunctory place in our life. Who will bell the cat? What can be the practical means to end the curse of bribery?
I know that from cave to computer era, bribery has been in practice in one form or the other. But at the same time awareness and intelligence has also multiplied. How in some parts of the world people have succeeded in containing and curbing and perhaps eradicating this shameful blot on mankind.
Has the time in Partitioned India not ripened to emancipate from this evil of bribery?View attachment 12731
