Arre kyon U.P. ke chinta karte ho,ek Jat ne tu fer Punjab ka raaj hasil kar liya;isnt' it proud moment for all of us that jats are ruling two of most prosperous states of India.Whether it is congress's Ch.Bhupender Singh Hooda or Akali Dals' Sarder Parkash Singh Badal-what matters to us is that Both are Jats.
U.P m tu Ch.Ajit Singh ka CM Bannea ka tu koi chance tha bhe nahi
Han Rajasthan m Jat CM ban sake se,par uddea bera na ke hoja se

Do you think 'ruling' is appropriate word to mention about this achievement?
For your kind information Punjab is not prosperous state any more, it comes at number 10.

India is a democracy and chief ministers belong to all the castes, communities, faiths, religions and above all to the people of their respective states. They do not represent a 'community' as supposed in the post but are representing a system of governance.
So we must first try to understand that no one 'community' is and can rule anymore under our constitutional system of governance. Our system is government of the people, by the people and for the people.

Gulia sahib has hinted in the right direction so it is useless to stretch further discussion on the issue.

Thanks

If we can say RULING PARTY,so what's wrong with the word ruling.
Secondly according to which source you are claiming it comes at number 10,different sites, different media houses have different views and results-according to rediff.com(INSTITUTE FOR COMPITITIVENESS),there are five high income states according to there rank they are-1.Goa 2.DELHI 3.MAHARASTRA 4.HIMACHAL PRADESH 5.HARYANA
Then comes 14 middle income states starting with Gujrat ,Tamil Nadu and third on this list is Punjab,so by this list also Punjab comes at 8th position out of 29 states which is fairly good standing(you might not consider it prosperous, its' your will)
Anyway this list surprised me also as I was thinking of Gujrat to be most prosperous state but it came on 6th,even himachal is ahead of it.
Gulia sahab I thank you very much for stimulating my mind on this topic.

ANYWAY BY THIS THREAD I WANTED TO CHEER UP MYSELF AND MY COMMUNITY MEMBERS-IF ANYBODY IS ANNOYED BY THIS THAN I AM VERY SORRY

I have mentioned my intention about writing this thread on Post number 4 here.
Things in reality are different as described by you Sir, we are living in cast based society-see U.P results my ahir friends of haryana are rejoicing victory of Mulayam Singh-whom infact they dont' know or have any connections in any way,so what's wrong in it.
and on Jatland we are here for discussing ABOUT JATS,BY THE JATS AND FOR THE JATS -THIS PLATFORM IS FOR JATS.So whats' wrong if I am cheering myself up and trying to cheerup other community members,if anybody is annnoyed its' his/her business.

In a democratic set up, the word ruling does not depict the true sense which you want to convey rather it gives an autocratic look, this is purely my personal view and every person has a right to differ. There is no harm in cheering up but use appropriate words. Secondly, I do not see it as an achievment if a jat is CM in jat dominated province. I recently read an article in The Tribune wherein it was mentioned that Punjab is at number 10 as per the ranking of RBI because of high debt burden of punjab in proportion to the GDP of that state.

Keep it up, please.

I admit that I have no right to put my views on the 'issue' and ask for your pardon because I could not resist comment believing in the democratic rights bestowed upon us by constitution of India. Now your bold words have opened my eyes. However, I reiterate Jat community is not ruling in India anywhere in Indian Union. It is governed by elected members of India on universal franchise basis and not on community based electorate.

Cheers!

Sir,
You are getting too much technical on word 'ruling' ,you have all the right to put your views, but isnt' your way of saying that this topic is useless, is kind of autocratic in itself, like if you are policing here what to discuss and not to discuss, also I dont' think this is a discussion topic.
Realities are different than text book statements-everybody knows that CM of a state is like a king,if not a king- just like we say 'rupaya khoda to nahin par khoda se kam bhe nahi'
You seem to go too much by text book statements.
and this unfortunate autocratic like Ruling system will go on until LOKPAL,JUDICIAL AND OTHER REFORM SYSTEMS ARE INCORPORATED INTO OUR CONSTITUTIONAL SYSTEM- as wanted and described by The Great Anna Hazare Team.

Gentilmen, I think, the initiater of the post has expressed his happiness on two CMs from the community, so what if he has mentioned most prosperous states, that way even Haryana is also not in lead, but no body can deny the fact that Punjab and Haryana are important states. I also feel that mr sangwan didnot mean ruling as dictetorship or alike system and now in these days every child knows that we are having democracy and what does it means, Though, this topic doesnot requires discussion nor the writer of the post might have intended so, but still no snubing/setup call is proper/adviseable please. regards

Han par inn m mere barege garib balak bhe pade se;sayed is vajah te log inn states ne prosperous na manatea ho.

Its a great feeling to have two jat chief ministers and expecting to have third CM in Rajasthan here if we consider Haryana then we have only four non jat CMs out of 9 . As one gentle man compared the chief minister with a king and i agree with him but if it is so then why are we fighting for reservation in Haryana and its an irony that after having so much political depth we are fighting to become backward . May be we have to fight for some quality education infrastructure and transparent selection procedure for jobs ….. I think its time to remove this caste based reservation , its not different from divide and rule british policy I know many of you will not agree with me but what i am saying is we have to behave as a responsible citizens instead of becoming some political fodder , what we really want to achieve after becoming backward ........ and are we really backward ??? and if answer is yes then there is nothing to feeling proud of having chief ministers from our caste and if its No then why are we agitating in such a uncivilized way.

Thanks and Regards

sumit mere bhai.....we all are responsible citizens on jatland and i am very sure that god has blessed each one of us who are on JL that we don`t need reservation.
same must be the case with those who are in YUDHBHUMI of reservation.they need it for their children younger brother sister and in few cases for themselves.
i understand your pain...... seeing all this leaves me too with all unanswered question but bhai........uske bare mai socho jo 1-2 baar 2-3 number sai exam mai reh gaya ho bechara mayoos hoke exam dene hi nahi jata hoga.......mere gaaam mai ek gujjar arr ek jaat dono nai exam diya bhai gujjar ka ho gaya 11 no. kamm hone ke baad bhi aur vo kisi roop se kamjoor background se nahi tha ......jaat balak bola mere jayda no. hone parr bhi nahi hua...........chalo koi nahi chora aagali baar nikal gaya .parr bhai sabko agali baar nahi milti.......
i do agree reservation is biggest WMD (weapon of mass destruction) present in our society it is biggest reason for promoting hatred and castesism but who is wiling to compromise.......nobody so why we should......
i know still you would be unconvinced but putting your self in place of some not so well off youth you may can come closer to understand it...............

Dear Shekhar,

I rose the issue of reservation because if we want us to become backward for any reason then there is no need to pat our backs as we belong to the ruling elite , as you compare two youths one behind the aegis of reservation and other one without it . My friend after getting these unnecessary privileges we will be under that shield and some one will remain out …so it may lead to the same situation for other castes under general category , as you said i have to put myself in that situation to understand their plight …. I was not born with a silver spoon in my mouth …I studied in a govt school and govt funded college . I have my share of failures but I still prefer equality then the reservation . Convincing me will not make any sense buddy we have to think out of box to make this state , the nation as better place to live. I will 100% support this evil if it will end all the problems in our caste . Please don't discuss the reservation here .If you want we will start a new thread .

Thanks and Regards

Sure, Haryana-Punjab are considered as most prosperous states of India as these two states provide biggest part of wheat stock (though since some years Punjab is seeming legging behind because of debt and farmers' suicide). It's a matter of pride for the Jats to have political dominance there. But I would also like to say that if our community is ruling two of most prosperous states of India, then we shouldn't forget about this fact too that these two states are No. 1 and 2 respectively in female foeticide and two of most drunkard states of the country as well. It is very shameful for our community.
Moreover, it doesn't matter too much how solid grip we have on regional politics, but we should think over it how much effective we are in national politics. We don't have national level leadership, it's a bitter truth. No body asks these CMs. How many PMs our community has produced so far? Good for nothing, Muslim supporter Ahirs are dreaming of producing next PM for India. If it happens, nothing more shameful can be for the country.

Regards.

Dear SK, I fully agree, please read my above post again, I supported your view and didnot like the discouragement/snubing/setup call by some brothers, May be that I was unable to convey my view properly.
