Economic condition of Jats is not better than SC

On the "reservation" thread, a debate came out if Jats are living a marginal life and most of the people accepted that Jats need reservation in OBC but do you think that economic status of jats is just like SC? Are we not better off than SC? Please participate in the poll, secondly by this poll we want to know the ecomonic condition is for all jats (Hindu, muslim ,sikhs) residing in India not just Hindu jats

भाई प्रशांत हरियाणा , पंजाब , यु.पि के जाटों की माली हालात एक जैसे ही हैं ज्यादा फर्क नहीं हैं | बड़े किसानो की बात अलग हैं नहीं तो हर गाँव में लगभग ३-४ एकड़ का किसान हैं , और फसल के भाव भी सबके लिए एक ही हैं | असल में देहात में आज घटती ज़मीन के कारण कुछ किसानो के हालत तो हरिजनों से भी बद्दतर हैं | केंद्र सरकार के आयोग ने अपनी एक रिपोर्ट में कहा हैं की आज के समय में 10 एकड़ से कम में खेती करना घाटे का सौदा हैं | आपको भी पता हैं आज गाँव में 10 एकड़ वाले किसान कितने हैं |


माहरे एक राजल चमार स वो चेजे पे काम करा करे तो वो कह्या करे के जाटा के काम करण में किम्मे स्वाद नहीं इनके के स खान न ''एक दिन कढ़ी एक दिन दाल , एक दिन चटनी एक दिन टाल '' ...........
गाँव में हर हरिजन के घर में सब्जी में तड़के की खुसबू आ जाएगी हर जाट के नहीं | ये कम से कम दुसरे के मजदूरी करके अपनी पूरी दिहाड़ी तो ले आते हैं , जाट अपने खेत में मजदूरी करता हैं और उसे उसकी मजदूरी की पूरी दिहाड़ी भी पूरी नहीं मिल पाती |

57 % says Jats condition is same as SC. WOW!.

I havent seen many SC with land holdings. Unfortunately these days many Jats doesnt do any hard work. Poor returns from agriculture could be one of the reason but it is also that our Kids doesnt want to work in fields nor they want to work for any Kirad. (Kirad ki naukri bhi koi naukri he).

Its a sad situation that a community which was known for their hard work slowly becoming one of the lousy one. We need to channel our strength in right direction first. In today's world its Ok to do any job which yeild good return.

If kheti isnt very productive that isnt our fault but if we continue to do an unproductive work for generations that is our fault not an excuse. We need to train our future generation to be better equiped to compete with other communities otherwise even reservation cant save us.

और इतनी कम जमीन में जो कुछ पैदावार होती है, वो प्राकर्तिक आपदाओं से ख़राब हो जाती है. गयी सारी मेहनत बेकार . वही ढ़ाक के तीन पात!

Rain hits wheat procurement in Sirsa, Fatehabad

Procurement of wheat has been hit in various grain markets and purchase centres of Sirsa and Fatehabad district due to yesterday’s rain. Though the procurement season had begun on April 1, the government procurement agencies started the actual purchase only from Monday.
The agencies purchased 12,815 metric tonne (MT) of wheat in various grain markets of Sirsa on the first day of procurement yesterday.
In Fatehabad, 7,387 MT of wheat was procured from various grain markets and purchase centres of the district.
However, before the agencies could lift their crop from the markets, rain dampened the heaps of wheat in the grain markets.
“Our heaps of wheat lying in the open have been severely dampened and it will take at least two days to dry up,” said Saudagar Singh, a farmer in the Sirsa grain market.
Ram Singh, the District Food and Supplies Controller, Sirsa, said the procurement agencies could not purchase the crop that did not comply with the norms for moisture content.
The inclement weather had not only hit procurement in the grain markets, but it has also delayed harvesting, where it is still pending.
J Ganeshan, Deputy Commissioner, Sirsa, appealed to farmers to bring their crop after drying it properly so that it complied with the moisture norms of the procurement agencies.
He assured the farmers that they would not have to face any harassment in the grain markets if their crop complied with the moisture norms.
“The agencies purchased wheat with moisture content up 12 per cent and any lot containing more than this has to be rejected,” said Rajbir Singh, District Food and Supplies Controller, Fatehabad.
If the weather plays spoilsport in the coming days, the procurement process will be hit further resulting in consi derable inconvenience besides financial losses to farmers.

I read somewhere few days back that govt is palnning to buy only that much of food grains which can be stored for max one month only. If this is true, then farmers are bound to face some more music in selling their grains. ये मोटे-परड़ लाला और बत्ती खून चूसेंगे इब इनका |

SC/ST better hai ya Jat, ya to gaam me rahen aale suthri dhaal bta sake se. Jis Jat ke 1-2 killa se or koi dusra kamaayi ka saadhan nahi hai wo to bhukha ae haande ja se. 2 tem ki roti muskil te mile se usne.

Atish, i think his intent was not to disrespect anyone but it is the anger that has come out after looking at people who just talk here rather than doing something substantial.
