मीठे की मिठाई-जाटों कुंसी भायी?

As we all know we Jats have a strong sweet tooth , so let's find out which sweet dish is most favourite amongst Jats.You must have seen ad that says khaane ke baad kuch mitha ho jaaye,but our order of eating is slightly different.Byaah shaadi ke mauke pe laadu,jaledi pehle serve ki jaati hain.We celebrate our festivals by making something Mitha like halwa and that too is eaten before the regular food is taken.So definitely we have a different style,order of eating than others who prefer to eat sweet dish after taking their meal.Let's see if we can find something interesting regarding this order of eating.

Yeah ......Jaats n Meetha I think are two unseperable names.
Jaats have alwayz been sweet lover ....."Gudd" is the all tym favourite sweet in Village.
In todays tym A marriage celebration n dinner serves many varieties in sweet dishes ...but as par my knowlegde in old tyms in villages the variety of Sweets made during a "praatibhoj"decided the marriage n its level...as Marriage in which Jalebi/ Guldana were made was known to be gud marriage rather than marriage with Laddu's.
My vote goes with Jalebi :)
 
I like two in the options kheer & churma,if both available.
But if only one to choose I'll choose kheer only.
This is only one dish,that I can make it also.
I like it so much that I have also learned to make it.
So my vote goes with kheer.

मिठाई तै भतेरी सैं एक तैं बढ़ कै एक । पर मिठाई बणावण आळे का नाम हो सै - हलवाई (यानि हलवा बनाने वाला) ! उसका नाम बरफी के नाम पै 'बरफाई' या लड्डू के नाम पै 'लाडूवाळ' किसै नै नहीं राख्या ।

सूधी सी बात सै - मिठाइयां का राजा हो सै हलवा । पुराने लोग तै न्यूं ऐं कहया करते ।

सहारण साब.... मत चिंता करे भाई, आवण दे कुणसी ए... मिठाई में भी के बूझना.....ठाई एर घिट्टी तले....गपा ए गप ...... मिठाई तो सारी ए बढ़िया.... :-)

Bhai Mittha jitna ho sake avoid karo.. Sehat ke liye thik nahi hai!! On topic,, order ka mughe bhi nahi pata,, Pehle ya Baad mei.. But ye jaroor pata hai ki mitha jitna kaam ho utna hi accha!

Taawla ae boodhya jisi baat karan laag gya bhai Atish :livid: . ibbe te javaan haa, peitt aale gandaassey chaale hain
 
Pannu Proactive is better than reactive ;). Ibb suwaad suwwad mai ghana khaya jaawega arr budhape mai sugar,, pherr katti band!

kam to aapne aap ae ho ra hai aade. Australia me na to koye byaah k card deta ar na koye holi diwali ki mitthayi. tera sugar level control me se, dare mat

Saare option badiya sain is poll mai,, multiple selection aala option hona chahiye tha.. in mithayian mai koi comparision koni !! saari apni jagah badiya sain,, aur koye replace nahi kar sakta innai
 
me n my brother both so much fond of kheer------

every weekend humne ghar aana------n fridge ki thandi kheer khana---like a week end treat

kya yar------ab week end tak ruka nahi jayega ( galat thread shurru kiya-----)

irony is ---once i roam across every good mithayee wala in delhi--haldiram-bikaner-nathu-aggarwal----n aur bhi kayee chote mote-----

mujhe kahin kheer nahi milli-

to all my dear frnds ---who stays in delhi

bhaiyon----if u know any shop in south delhi---from where i can get thandi kheer-------( i would deeply-heartly grateful for that info)

there is one on pandara road---but yaron woh bahut door hai
