he he.. it means specialization in Finance and they at least understand basic economics(infact every MBA guy understands lil bit of economics)
Also my post was a reply to desi, who feels only he knows everything about anything on this earth. CWG village which was developed by spending crores of rupees(and doing crores of rupee ghotalas), is being used by buffalos for grazing. When world cup was organized in SA, lot of stadiums were built and they are being used for football matches now. Better than grazing buffalos, isn't it?

I do not know it all but I do try and read everything with a balanced view.
Just because we have power and money hungry people like Chautala, Kalmadi and VK Malhotra does not mean we do not host games.
CWG got Delhi better infrastructure, more houses, hotels, flyovers and a world class airport.

Hosting games and doing lot of corruption and very poor planning while hosting games is entirely different. The CWG village reamins un-utilized for most of the year. Its been 2 years now since CWG and the village should have been a hub for preparation camps, but its not.Thats why I quoted SA as an example that they are utilizing the stadiums built during world cup 2003 for football games. Kalmadi and dikshit made large money from CWG and are least worried about the poor state of CWG now. We dont pay taxes for such a misuse! Do we?

Ok, I dont dispute the fact that there's no concrete evidence of Modi being directly involved in the riots. Apart from IPS Sanjiv Bhatt's testimony there is nothing that can conclusively prove that Modi's guilty of letting things deteriorate knowingly.
But, given the fact that a lot of BJP workers including sitting MLAs and minsters were involved, my opinion is that Modi was involved as well. His tracks were covered up. I cant imagine MLAs and minsters leading mobs and distributing arms without the knowledge that there was support from the top.
To draw a parallel again, Sajjan Kumar, Tytler, HKL Bhagat etc are thought to have been involved in the 1984 riots and there are cases against them. But we all also agree that Rajiv Gandhi was involved and he gave his full support since these Congress workers couldn't have been functioning independently. At the same time there's no evidence that directly links Rajiv Gandhi apart from his statement - 'when a big tree falls....'
So, just like Bhagat, Sajjan Kumar etc cant function alone and help the rioters, similarly Mayaben Kodani and others cant be involved alone without Modi being involved. There had to be support from the topmost leadership in the state.
I am with you on CWG. We thought it will show case our so called development but we ended up wasting tonnes of money and actually embarrassed ourselves in the lead-up to the event.
I think you are being biased about Aadhar though. Every initiative has the scope of being misused. Ration cards, driving licenses, etc. The implementation isnt perfect as we have seem uptill now. But that shouldn't stop us from starting new initiatives that can have massive benefits. In case of UID, with Nandan Nilekani leading it, I think the benefits far outwiegh the drawbacks or misgivings.

Israel has a perennial friend in the US. More Jews live in US than in Israel acting as a permanent lobbying group for Israel. Moreover Jews also control a lot of FIs and media houses leading to a control of world opinion. So Israel's policy of tit-for-tat is built on such behind the scene activities and decades of influence in powerful countries. Its not as simple as you think.

Your sources are Modi and LK Advani? Cant you see irony here? Both from BJP. One has 2002 riots to his name and the other has the achievemnt of the Babri Masjid.

As I have probably posted before, there's no point to it. Lets desist from crossing swords over Modi. We should actually lock this thread for a year, untill Modi is announced as the BJP's PM candidate. That will give a new twist to the tale.
