Please vote for Dr Poonam Sansanwal for Silicon Vally 2012 Awards !!

Hello & Ram Ram to all,
First, at the outset, thanks Jit for this initiative, and guilty as charged …I do not get to log in now a days owing to family/work commitments. However, it’s heartening to see the same ol’ lively Jatland in action.
Most importantly, please allow me to express my deepest gratitude to each one of you for supporting me in SVA2012. I truly appreciate your being there for me. I can rest assure you that your belief in me is only going to motivate me to do a better job.
Thank you all!!

Dear fellow Jatlanders,

My deepest gratitude to all of you who believed in me, voted and supported me.

I’m happy to share with you that I had the honor of receiving Silicon valley Award 2012 in Science & Technology from Hon. N. Parthasarathi, Consul General of India, San Francisco and Senator Ellen Corbett, State Majority Leader.

The judges panel included Ms. Diana Rohini Lavigne, Chair of SAJA (South Asian Journalist Association) and Editor, NRI Achievers Magazine, Dr. Raj Salwan, Chairman Fremont Chamber of Commerce and Head, Democratic Party in Fremont, Mr. R. Paul Singh, CEO Social Nuggets, and Director and Marketing Chair, TiEcon and Mr. Satish Jha, Chairman One Laptop Per Child India and Nicki Sun, Associate Producer MYX TV, and multimedia producer.

“Silicon Valley Awards 2012 ‘Making a Difference” was all about the people who live in Silicon Valley and who make a difference in one way or another to help the Valley grow and become a better and richer place, culturally and professionally. The objective of the SVA 2012 was to recognize these individuals, companies, non-profits in Silicon Valley who epitomize the Silicon Valley culture, its philosophy. The Awards recognized these individuals/groups in Science & Technology, Media & Films, Entrepreneurship, Writers/Authors and Non-Profit categories.

Wishing you all a very happy New Year 2013!

Poonam
