These are states which have lagged in economic growth for a long period of time. There has been a recent spurt in their economic growth and this, claims Singh, has been because of the UPA government.
Three out of the four states (except Rajasthan) have had a non-Congress-non UPA government for the entire duration of the UPA rule in Delhi. Rajasthan has had a Congress government since December 2008.
So trying to claim that the growth in these states has been only because of the UPA government is misleading, to say the least. The argument is along similar lines where Congress politicians and some experts have tried to claim over and over again that Bihar has grown faster than Gujarat. Yes, it has in percentage terms. But what they forget to tell us is that Gujarat is growing on a much higher base, meaning the absolute growth in Gujarat is higher. In fact, it is three times higher than that of Bihar (The entire argument is explainedhere).

I agree, states who used to lag have done well, I am happy to see you agree not ONLY Gujarat did well. PM spoke that slow states did well, but he did not say Congress ruled states did well, and there is a difference, No? You author forgot to mark states like TN, Maharashtra who are of the same stature as Gujarat and have grown more than Gujarat both in terms of rate and over all economy. Selective writing, or biased?

Aur UPA 2 kaise bani, roshni bagaiye, plizzzzz :confused:

Very true Rajpal ji, this country desperately needs MODIfication.

Otherwise these traitors will:
a) continue to go soft on terrorists, thereby further strengthening the hands of internal and external terrorists and their tanzeems (organisations).
b) might one day hand over J&K to Pakistan through a backdoor deal in the name of harmony and peace. The agenda of the three central govt. interlocutors on J&K a few years back is well known to everyone.
c) dividing the country on the basis of religion based reservation which is actually happening on ground today. AND THEY ARE NOT COMMUNAL.
d) not let the faultlines disappear by ensuring that the people do not get uniform civil code.
e) disrespect the martyred soldiers by hosting lunching and giving red carpet treatment to the Paki murderers.
f) stash away the wealth of the country/common man in Swiss safe havens.
g) not allow citizens to hoist the national flag in Lal Chowk Srinagar thereby signifying to the world that it is de facto not a part of India.

2. TN or Maha ko beech mai laane ki jarurat hi nahi thi... kyon ki ek bar fir se us article ka vo column padega (or is bar thoda dhayan se)... to clear pata chalta hai ki PM ye batane ki kosish nahi kar ruha tha ki kounsi state (Congress or BJP ruled) mai kitna positive kaam hua hai... balki PM ye claim karne ki kosish kar ruha tha ki BIMARU states mai acche kaam UPA ke karan hi huae hain...
3. Na author or na mai... koi bhi, Goa, Haryana, TN ya Maha ko bhoole the... balki PM ne "BIMARU" states ke acchi performance ka claim karega to hum bhi un states ke bare mai hi discuss karangae...
4. meri or teri debate mai koun biased hai or koun unbiased... ye na to mai bata sakta hu na tu... to is type ke allegation apne pass hi rukhega to better hai...

I feel it is very important for anyone who holds the Indian citizenship and hears about him being the PM. His regret now will not make any difference, but it shows a lot hidden and but obvious shades of his character which is highly communal.

People say he was behind the riots, stings have shown that, SC has ruled it out but has also said Modi's intentions were/are not straight. Even if I believe he was not behind it, it is his duty to regret what happened to give a sense of security to minorities not just in Gujarat but across India if he aims to be the PM but he will not do that because he aims to become the PM by being saffron-eyed Hindutva boy.

Modi main Gudda hai? Dikha tha SRCC main. Aur IT Conclave main jo gudda dikhaya usme jawab to ek sawal ka theek se nahi mila.

Now you may say he has won Gujarat thrice, which means it does not matter?And I would say look at Gujarat's demographics and you will get various analysis on that.

An apology does nothing but restores the faith, India is a secular country and in order to remain one we need someone who can take everyone together, both in happiness and grief.
